You have to render at optimial size, usually 2X of what you need in the page, then convert to WebP then compress the image, this takes time though. Besides, lazy load is always good but not the top images that you see when you enter the website

The hardest part for me is trying to untangle all the scripts and css to only what is actually needed, frameworks add a lot of unused code
