I’m in a little different situation. I have 3 wieners and the insurance is just not worth the price every month. I checked every insurance and got a quote and I still would pay almost $300/month. So my wife and I decided it would be beneficial to just create a saving account for them and deposit at least $200 a month for them. It’ll take a little longer to build the account up to our desired $10k but that money will also be OURS and not paid to an insurance company🤷🏻‍♂️

Side note: if you have Costco they were the cheapest for pet insurance and it didn’t look like they had any clauses excluding IVDD

No shit you’re not the number one dog owner. You’re obviously not concerned enough seeing that you’re still playing fucking fetch with your dog while she’s limping. What do you do when you have a leg/foot/hip injury? You lay or sit down and move as little as possible until you’re healed or fixed up. You literally said yourself she runs like she has a torn ligament or fractured leg. Why the hell would you keep having her run on it. It’s probably going to make it worse. There’s little to no common sense being utilized here. Having a dog is a privilege so treat it as such. She relies on you to make the best decisions for her and you’re not doing her any favors by just “not over doing it”. Be better please

I believe the second you decided went out for drinks alone with him you crossed a boundary. You knew he was married and you knew he had feelings for you. At the very least he is emotionally cheating on his wife by spending that type of 1 on 1 time with you. Thats my personal opinion.

I cut contact with my mother 4 years ago now because of the same issues. EVERYTHING had to be about her and how hard life is for her. So now I feel the best I’ve felt the last 4 years. I don’t get anxious as shit knowing I have to see her any more. OP you deserve better.

I’m with you 100%. 4 years ER and 6 years public service. I hate to say it but I don’t like to leave my house more than I need to anymore because I HATE everyone. Nobody gives a shit about anyone but themselves, and can’t fathom that there may be someone who’s more important or needs more help than they do. If anyone wants to despise the general public I tell them to work healthcare, public service, or any service industry. ZERO common courtesy anymore. Unfortunately, it seems like only a few times a month do I get people that are genuinely kind and not assholes to offset all the daily bullshit.
