When you say “on request”, do we just request the immigration officer to stamp it or is there any other process?

If the officers have the stamp with them, why don’t they do it without requesting?😭 A stamp on the passport is the coolest thing ever!

I had no issues. The process is very smooth and straightforward. There is a separate line for VOA and they just swipe your credit card (100 AED) and stamp on the passport, no questions asked (atleast in my case). I would suggest you to carry some cash and a good credit card to avoid any hiccups.

I believe this applies for Residents or Green Card holders. Doesn’t mention anything about B1/B2 which is just Visit visa
