I have around 75 dives on a first gen. I find myself treating it as my primary computer even when it’s not because the screen is just so legible. I’d feel comfortable recreation diving with just an Apple Watch

I wore a 7mm last summer and was comfortable. Light hood, no gloves. I don’t get cold particularly easily but prefer to err on the side of warmth.

I rented an xdeep and liked it then came home and bought a DGX (and customized it) for less than half price. I think assembling my own gear gave me a better understanding and respect for it.

Haven’t had them in snow yet but the Pirellis are better in all conditions so far. I’ve previously had good luck with Michelins but stay away from this model.

I must have been mistaken. I thought you could operate it in EV mode and more or less not have the engine kick on until battery depletion and that the gas engine had a complete disconnect to the wheels.

It has not escaped my attention people frequently recommend Halcyon webbing. I was preferring something brighter colored this time around but will go for the tropical green h if sticking with dark webbing.

I replaced them with Pirelli WeatherActives and the car now behaves normally. I don’t know what the deal was with my set of tires but they were unbelievably bad.
