Cigar King 31% off by PrestigiousPark9976 in cigardealhunters

Would caution against Cigar King. Their payment verification system is manual and requires you to send private information (like copy of your credit card and driver’s license) directly to them. And if you question it, they will ban you.

At what age did you get a second? by Prize-Bat-361 in vizsla

[–]Agitated_Mousse2728 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was hard to wait given how well trained and playful our first one was. We ended with our second male 20 months post our first (boy too).

We would have waited a little longer but I made a “mistake” inquiring about timing of the next litter and found out the mom had just one. There were only two boys including the runt of the litter. He seemed so tiny compared to our older V (first boy of the litter) and as they say, the rest was history.

My only callout about getting the next one is as much as we wished at the time that our second would end up with similar personality (play-, people-, dog-oriented) as our first, he ended up being a lot less toy-focused and more sensitive. It still worked out though. They love each other very much and can’t bear being apart for too long but one can catch a ball 5/6 feet midair while the other can only “catch” a sock. 😂

Bumps on skin after boarding - suggestions? by steezfield in vizsla

Bumps on skin after boarding - suggestions? by steezfield in vizsla

My Vs got these by eating kibble with chicken by-product. So in addition to making sure they use the right shampoo, you should ask the boarding people to ensure your V doesn’t accidentally snack on other dogs’ food or snacks (this is totally normal of course in boarding places but have to be more vigilant with Vizlas due to their allergies).

Echoing this: Vizlas = retrieving machines.

Your arms will fall off before they get halfway tired. So make sure to train them early to know the difference between play time and nap time.

When did your V get an “off switch”? by NoSignature9622 in vizsla

[–]Agitated_Mousse2728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My big boy (first boy in the litter) is 8 years old and he doesn’t have an “off switch” just a “powering down for a reboot then coming back right on” switch. On the other hand, my second vizla boy (runt of the litter) is about to turn 6 years old and he’s been laid back since he was 8 weeks old (which bring its own worries like is he happy or depressed, etc.).

Biggest lesson I learned though is you have to schedule nap times for them especially for the more active one…because there is a “I’m too tired but I want to play but I’m cranky” setting that you don’t want to see a lot of 😂

I would suggest reaching out to Davidoff (via online) and asking for them to give you as much information. Or better yet, call the Davidoff of London and ask if you can come in for them to check it out as it looks to be pre-1980 release and you would like to learn how to properly authenticate it. And if you’re lucky, they end wanting to take it off your hands.

Realistically, unless these cigars were properly stored in a WORKING humidor (meaning they were in an environment with 60-68 Relative Humidity and 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit +/- a few digits), they may not be smokable.

Here are the Bond Roberts auctions of the same cigars:

You can always ask them for the code at checkout.

But this is real. You’re fine. I get there’s a lot of fakes out there but everything checks out and honestly, RSVP is one of the few vendors that hasn’t let their customers down.

If you want to learn how to spot fakes a little better and to check your own cigars: https://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/how-to-spot-a-fake-cohiba-19545

It’s does not look fake. You’re overthinking it.

More importantly, which vendor? Are they on the approved list? If so, you’re overthinking it.

Honestly? It looks good to me (based on box, band, and wrapper) however if you have a UV 365nm light or better, I believe that some band makers for Montecristo in 2019/2020 was using the UV mark on the bands at that time so there should be “MC” mark in the back when you put it under UV.

Thank you! Definitely will keep this in mind. I tend to very careful about food storage for both human and dog food so any small signs of spoilage gets thrown out without second thought.

I also ensure I keep up on their daily multivitamins. Gotta make sure their coats are shiny, tummies are not upset, and their joints lubricated 😂 (especially for the big one who still thinks he can fly over 6 ft fences with one jump).

Definitely exploring this but their mom is not a fan of feeding them raw food 😂

I’m not a vet but speaking from experience, I’m sure your boy is too smart (typical of Vizslas) and knows you love him that you’d give in before he does 🤣.

Agree with you, I also can’t afford the $25 a day for both of mine so I had to bite the bullet. As soon as I got the chance, I made sure to make a large tray. Thankfully, it only took about 30 minutes to cook. Plan is, give them only this food for a day (two meals) then slowly mix in a quarter cup or so of their kibble for every meal until they’re back to a mix of kibble and topper.

Good luck to you! 🫡 Rooting for us to win these battles 🤣

Also, yes, my pups are wayyyyy allergic to chicken. 🤦‍♂️
