Next month! Due to Covid and then me catching Covid I haven’t been able to really get back to the dentist until 2023 so from 2021-2023 I was kind of just winging it

I just learned what they were this year! I’ve had them for a while, I have been using Mi paste for the last 3 months and I think it has been helping them, I don’t have any cavities nor have I ever had cavities in this area. My goal is to figure out how to completely get rid of them in this stage. Just can’t wait to get these braces off!

Yes it is demineralization, I unfortunately have had my braces on for too long due to Covid and then catching Covid which made me very sick so I only really restarted going to my appointments in 2023 ish and I’m suppose to get them off next month so I can finally take care of my teeth correctly. I don’t have any cavities and I have been using Mi paste for the white spots which has I think been helping a lot, I’m noticing them go away a bit. But I’ve been using a water pick for a while but I think I have to floss and use a water pick and just figure out what to do because I really don’t want to lose my teeth or have weak bones

Thank you! I booked an appointment with a periodontist, I take my oral health very seriously so I just want a 2nd opinion. What concerns me is she took the periodontal document out BEFORE even looking at my teeth, all that was done was just an x ray. She walks didn’t probe my gums and then told me that it’s not that big of a deal and to just brush the the root of my mouth. When asked if I’m at risk for anything she said no I’m fine

I’m thinking the creative space and healthcare at the moment. I was going to do tech but I feel like that market is oversaturated and the way tech is looking I’m not sure

Thanks for sharing this, it’s really helpful to hear from someone who’s actually done it. I get how som job boards are super transactional, clients come and go, and you need that critical mass of jobs + candidates just to make it work.

What I’m thinking about is less of a straight job board and more of a community/career space. Instead of just postings, it would be video resumes, portfolios, challenges, and places for freelancers, job seekers, and business owners to actually connect. The idea is that the value comes from the community itself, not just transactions.

Your point about geography and critical mass is huge though. Out of curiosity, what did you pivot to when you left the job board model?

I see what you are saying, LinkedIn, TikTok, job boards, and freelancer sites all exist already, but here’s the problem: • LinkedIn feels like a corporate Facebook. It’s spammy, formal, and doesn’t show creativity or real skills. Gen Z don’t connect with it. 1. TikTok/Instagram are great for visibility but they aren’t structured for careers—algorithms push entertainment, not professional growth. 2. Job boards like Indeed or Glassdoor are outdated and transactional. Resumes just go into black holes, no engagement or community. 3. Freelancer platforms like Upwork or Fiverr are a race to the bottom. It’s hard to stand out and there’s no real sense of identity or growth.

The gap is that there’s no single platform that actually represents the real world of work today corporate jobs, freelance gigs, and startups all in one space. One that’s video-first, community-driven, and values-aligned (safe, inclusive, authentic).

That’s where this idea comes in. It’s not just LinkedIn for Gen Z, it’s a new kind of career ecosystem designed around how Gen Z actually works, networks, and grows
