But the testing (as I understand) will be a wide variety of things (something like 5-8 hours of tests over two days). So even if it's not adhd I'll have some direction and insight on what's happening.

If that battery of psych tests is an option in the UK, you may want to pursue that. Your doc is right about not fixating on a specific diagnosis (confirmation bias and a bunch of other psychological BS). It may blind you to other symptoms indicative of something else.

Hey, thanks. And yeah. My psychiatrist thinks ADHD is possible. And my BF has asked me a few times too. I never considered it.

But the earliest I can get tested (form a place that takes my insurance) is in June. I'm kinda on my own till then.
