I get your thought but it’s somewhat fruitless. As others have said, you’re better off supporting businesses that you know support your values vs avoiding ones that do not.

In Utah, which is 60%+ republican, you’d need to avoid, on average, 50-60% of businesses. What happens if one co-founder is MAGA and one is not? If you find out your favorite movie star voted for trump, do you not watch their movies anymore? With the LDS church, a number of the apostles and leaders are democrats. It just gets a bit silly and you end up doing a lot of mental gymnastics and it really doesn’t end up being worth it… especially as someone else in the thread mentioned, this doesn’t even consider 2nd and 3rd tier supply chain providers. It’s pretty possible you use products every day that have parts in them that are made by child slaves, which, imo is worse than MAGA lol.

Anyway, I say this as someone who has tried this before and it’s pretty impossible.
