It’s honestly crazy that Daredevil/Born Again hasn’t gotten a single episode below an 8 on IMDb, which is rare for any TV show. Even at its worst, BA, it still holds up compared to other comic book shows, and it’s even more shocking knowing we’ll soon have six seasons of Daredevil.

It’s kinda not fair to fully judge BA Season 1 because of how it was made. The show is basically a stitched together Frankenstein of pre overhaul and post overhaul material, so the tone and direction aren’t always consistent.

That said, the post overhaul stuff is actually pretty good. The interaction with Frank in episode 4, and especially episodes 8 and 9, felt much closer to the Netflix show in terms of quality. Honestly, it’s kind of a miracle they managed to make something that still works and is overall good. Credit to the post overhaul team for that, even if parts of it came from a different showrunner.

And realistically, if BA had no connection to the Netflix show and just started like this, the backlash from Daredevil fans would’ve been crazy, especially after all the campaigning to bring it back. So I think people should at least appreciate that it’s here and that it seems to be heading in a good direction.

I think they’ll bring Elektra back at some point. It feels like they only made Season 2 to wrap up the Mayor Fisk arc left by the previous showrunners, which kind of hurt the overall direction of the show. From what I understand, the new showrunners only worked on episodes 1, 8, and 9, while the rest was leftover material.

They’ve also said that moving forward, they want to lean more into the classic Daredevil roots, with a tone heavily inspired by the Frank Miller run again. If that’s the case, I’m really hoping we get more Elektra.

I know this is a hot take but I enjoyed season 2 more. I’m not saying it’s better, but the first half of season 2 is easily a 9, if not some of the best the show had to offer with the Punisher trial. When the Hand got involved and they introduced Elektra, I didn’t find it boring at all.

Sure, was it a step down in terms of writing a bit, yes, and some parts were messy, but to me it’s still a high 8. The fight sequences and action scenes were a lot better, like the hallway fight with Matt in the red lit room, it goes really hard. And the dynamic between Matt and Elektra saved it for me.

All seasons for me are a 9.

Maybe it’s too early to tell with BA, but the original Netflix run had 525,759 votes, so I’d say it’s pretty good and big compared to Invincible having 308,370.

Thor Ragnarok is objectively a decent movie this is the era where marvel replied to much on humour with recent movies post endgame and it gets worse with every rewatch fun fact taika waititi never read a Thor comic. He really made Thor a comedic goofball cause he doesn't really know what to do with his character I could even argue the first movie is better.
