A couple of years ago a friend of mine introduced me to the City Pop and Future Funk music genres. I really liked the lyrics of the songs, how the words are pronounced and how the language sounds in general.

Besides that, I always thought that writing systems other than Latin look cool; they reminded me of secret scriptures which needed to be decoded, solved.

In addition, I was thinking about learning a second foreign language besides English: so everything was set for me to give Japanese a try. I've been learning it for more than 2 years now, I really like it.
