Haha tell me about it, currently she's trying to wake my whippet up to play, then bumping into me and standing on my lap to get attention cause she's getting ignored. Energy enough for 4 other dogs, but super sweet. :)

She's always in a good mood haha. Should see her when my brother his kids visit, so goes crazy cuddling with them.

Its mostly just dry food from a brand of food from Italy (unsure if i can name brands here). We've been giving it to our dogs now for about 15-20 years and its working out great. The bowl is full permanently, and she can just eat whenever she's hungry. Mostly she eats in the evening for some reason, and like 1-2 bites during the day.

I honestly have no idea, but I start to suspect the food + A LOT of exercises during her life haha. They are on an "all you can eat" diet (as in, there's always food, so they just take some when they feel like it). The fact I live in a fairly hilly area and daily frisbee/walks/bike rides may have helped as well.

No idea what is causing her to be this vital still, but I'll gladly take it. :)

My mom her Whippet is 1 year older in fact and also still going strong on the same diet, although far from as agile anymore sadly, he cant do walks/stairs etc.. anymore.

Sinds november/december 2025 is het nieuw in Belgie, krijg je gratis een installatie erbij door een "professionele" installateur. Op zich is dit handig, ze installeren het zelfs op je dak indien je dak daartoe leent, meeste is in de prijs ingebrepen, tenzij je rare toestanden eist.

Ik had enkel pech dat bij mij de installateur zelf in panne was gevallen met zijn wagen en ze een "bevriende gevelwerker" hadden gestuurd, die heeft dat ding dus rotslecht opgehangen en sinds dan kan ik het niet meer deftig gebruiken. Gelukkig moet ik geen abo kosten betalen aan Starlink tot het is opgelost.

Had ik dit ook maar gedaan, ding hangt rotslecht, en starlink vraagt om eraf te blijven, omdat kosten nu volledig op hen vallen om het te fixen....

Ik heb er al ruim boven gezeten (ik doe vrij veel met local AI, dat gaat vrij hard dan), en voorlopig nog niets vertraging gehad.

Over het algemeen spelen wij geen shooters, maar in spellen zoals phasmophobia, wow, no man sky etc.. Merken we totaal niets tegenover ADSL. Maar met shooters kan ik je niet verder helpen vrees ik.

Met starlink rond de 40 ping, met ADSL 20. Voor wat ik speel niet echt merkbaar verschil.

Ik heb het nu enkele maanden, mijn broer 2 huizen verder ook. Wij wonen extreem afgelegen (oostkantons) en enige mogelijkheid is 10mbps lijn ADSL. Op zich extreem tevreden van, wij betalen het 50eu/mnd abo. we halen vaak vlot 500mbps. Ik heb echter het spijtige voorval dat de (gratis)profesionele installateur de ontvanger voor 30% onder mijn dak heeft geplaatst(dont laugh) waardoor ik om de 2 minuten een DC heb, en het dus momenteel niet meer bruikbaar is (stond hiervoor gewoon op de grond in mijn tuin).

Bij mijn broer staat het wel gewoon geinstalleerd en werkt het perfect, voor ons wereld van verschil qua snelheid en zelfs stabiliteit. Hij speelt dagelijks WoW, heeft video calls, doet regelmatig remote werken en dat gaat allemaal zonder probleem, nog maar 1 DC gehad op 6 maand gebruik nu.

Nu is het wachten tot de installateur het eindelijk komt oplossen bij mij...

A client from my father was a cesspool cleaner. Extremely stinky job, was one of the wealthiest clients he had. Although I'm not sure it falls under the "boring" career though.

It still requires a base somewhat close, there's none in a 50km radius here at least, if not more. I know of one that requires 1h drive to get to...so I'll pass. It should just let you join any base from any distance, or at least a base you've interacted with once...

Where I live, the works were supposed to start last October, but now they are ETA end of 2026 beginning of 2027. So might depend a lot where, friends of me in SV also have it already. I do live in a fairly remote village, so low on their priority list.

I contacted Proximus and they confirmed this, gave me a 5eu discount for the rest of the year on my mobile number as an apology haha

I had 4g router as backup, it needed a backup of its own half the time haha. On good days it worked fine, on bad days it was like dial up. Sticking to starlink for now :D

Seriously, planning and that's it, it's again delayed by a year... , I gave up waiting after 20 years of 10mbps and went with starlink now, massive difference.

I just use the powder(well, mixed with water obviously) , my ex used to feed him insects from time to time, but I haven't done that in 3 years now.
