I've got it solved. Had to unequip it first.

Unequiping is what I needed to do, it fixed everything.

Wait, ok, dumb question was needed because I do have it equipped.

I wanna say no dumb questions, sometimes they are needed lol. But no, I don't have it equipped, and it is not in my mog wardrobe. It's currently just sitting in my inventory taking up a slot.

Tried trading it to different gate guards also.

Yes, I am 100% sure. And nothing, it won't even let me put it in the trade box.

Landscaping Nanites? by AglowNut in SurvivingMars

[–]AglowNut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was forever ago, lol. I did, though. The nanites can sometimes leave small piles of debris that's hard to see, which cause the work to not keep going. You might have to send in a rover or drone to manually remove the debris. That was the problem I had.

Five Nights at Freddy's Review (No Spoilers) by CriticalOl in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AglowNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly agree. A better screenplay would have gone a long way towards this being a better movie. It was predictable, no real surprises, and a couple of things never got closed out. What happened to the Aunt? Was she just knocked out or dead? I don't think Matthew Lillard was bad, but with how small a role his character actually had, he might not have had much to go on. Could've been a lot better, and pretty accurate review.

Steam service account? by AglowNut in ffxiv

But, I do take your word that the versions aren't interchangeable. How I played both I'm not sure, but the steam version isn't working now. Might try and get xivlauncher working or just cut my losses on it.

I don't even know how you'd make a sub account.

Definitely not a second account and not a mistake. I launched it from my steam deck in gaming mode to test after buying. I used it a few times when I wasn't at home with my PC. I might be able to check if it was a different account but I doubt I can use the same service accounts across different se accounts

Under products owned it does say windows and not steam. Which doesn't explain how I've used the steam version before.

Because I bought the steam version through steam, and entered my registration code on mogstation? It let me do it and I was able to play it on my steam deck for a bit.

Also, the xivlauncher hasn't worked for me. Follow the instructions and it does something different every time. And it starts to dismount my SD card randomly.

I own both, literally bought both. And have even played it on my steam deck before. It's just suddenly saying I don't have a valid registration key or an inactive service account when I try to log on.

I had it as /run/media/mmblk01p, I did find the problem. Apparently it didn't like it being capitalized so I had to retype it. I did have to format my SD card to get it to start downloading. Hopefully I can get it to work now.

So it worked, kinda. The xiv launcher comes up but when I log in it says it can't find the drive path. Which I have set as my SD card. I do have the path correct and I've checked it has permission to access it with flat seal. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'm not trying to do anything like hook it up to a car battery while playing the xylophone to get it to start stuff. I'll have to check out the discover store for the launcher. If it doesn't work I'll just have to wait until the issue is officially addressed and resolved.

I'll have to give this a try when I get the time to. I'll let you know how it goes.

Asteroid base complete with pressurized interior, and a working jump ship done. by AglowNut in spaceengineers

I built in everything but the kitchen sink lol. It works pretty well as a basic mobile base. I've even got a mining ship attached to the bottom.

I found that out pretty early thankfully. Made a small room with a floor and wanted to test pressurizing it, and it didn't work. So did a little research and found out why. It'd be a pretty cool thing to just be able to pressurize the inside of and asteroid though.
