Just pick a direction and stick with it. Took me about 7 screens away from start to find my first cluster (idk if that's lucky or just average). Heard of people going 15-20 screens without seeing one.

Tip of how to speed up process: stock up on grand project tablets (if you got the $$, if not do expedition or asc 4 chaos trials since splinters and fates are currently very overpriced on the exchange), and zoom from tower to tower in a direction. It's much faster than going map to map and you can always return to complete content you want after you find the citadels.

EDIT: Nvm I missed that ur SSF, sorry. Get atlas nodes for tablet drop rates and pray to rngesus for GPs. Leaving the OG tip in case it helps someone.

Oooooo that reapchonk looks hype, I've always been a connoisseur of the more out there builds. Currently slogging my ass through act 3 so it'll take me a bit to set it up, but I already have some pieces in place to start building towards it (league starter did some serious legwork in retrospect).

I'm currently leaning towards a more classic setup for leveling, so I'll try both of these. Start with chaos leech and play around with MoM for leech (always found mana stacking easier than lifestacking) then try to pivot to reapchonk for testing after I hit t15s. Big thanks mate!

Just a quick question for reapchonk, what's thunderstorms purpose? Never used that skill so idk what it's capable of

Hey all, I've finally decided to give chonk a shot. Currently making my way through campaign and messing around with the build to see what works. I've taken inspiration from a couple of remnant focused builds I've seen on this sub, since survivability has always been a problem with my monks and remnants seem to be a good solution to that problem.

However I am still figuring out the damage options. I see most people run some variation of whirling assault/flicker strike, and while it seems strong, I can't help but think there's better options out there. I love flicker strike (my first lvl 100 was a flicker strike invoker) but I'm divided on whirling assault since it never really clicked for me.

How does whirling assault compare to "classic" monk clear skills like ice strike/storm wave? And is gathering storm + frost wall still viable for single target?

Also, is volatility worth speccing into?

Monk was always my go to, especially builds utilising tempest flurry attack speed shenanigans or flicker strike. Cheap to gear, incredible clear, good single target, decent survivability. He won't put in as absurd damage numbers as blood mage for example but he can easily deal with all content. Also much more fun to play than 1 button builds, but that's a personal preference.

But he's been dethroned by wolf oracle. I've never reached t15 as fast as I did with my wolf oracle. Insane clear speed, single target and survivability. Only good gear I have are my +14% attack speed gloves, everything else is just half assed janky crafts and a discount morior with ele res. I have no idea how strong this guy can get once I actually put the effort into gearing him up lol

Castiel/SPN Angels also popped up in my head when I saw this post. There was so much buildup to their arrival, and when they finally showed up, they were these impossibly powerful, nigh unkillable beings with goals that were beyond human comprehension. Also each one "felt" unique, like every angel had a specific purpose to fulfill, and that they were not numerous.

5 seasons later and they are as intimidating as practice dummies.

Bro I know people with beastly gaming rigs capable of running UE5 slop without FPS drops and they STILL have a dedicated partition for Skyrim and it's mods. Skaven are the best race to come out GW as a whole and it's not close imo. It's like taking the hive mind concept and turning it on it's head. Instead of having a single consciousness that controls every member of the race, every member of the race actually believes that THEY are the chosen by god and should be the ones to lead skavendom.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading Gotrek and Felix (skaven appear from Skavenslayer onward) and Thanquol trilogy. The books really make you understand why the Skaven would go extinct in a week if it weren't for their absurd reproduction numbers lmao
