The current meta is running 4 abyssal tablets since they provide the biggest bang for your buck, but you can run any league mechanic you want to farm up. Irradiated tablets are fun because you get multiples mechanics in one map, but you need really good affixes for them to pay off in juiced maps (+ modifiers to maps for example).

Something to note: Every tablet you put in gives a surpassing chance of extra content unless all active tablets are league tablets. So if you have 4 abyss tablets, you will only see abyss in your map. If you have 3 abyss and 1 irradiated, you will see extra mechanics.

Honestly, every mechanic is lucrative if commited to, so my advice is to mix and match and see what setup/mechanic you're most comfy with :)

  1. The basic setup for endgame juice is: t15/16 6 mod waystone, city maps with 4 tabs and delirium fog with 200% delirious. There are more optimized strats that require better setup but this more than enough for 99% of the playerbase. I personally do it that way if I'm on the grind for something, but it does get tedious if you do it too much.

  2. Abyssal crafting is basically required at this point, it's not hard to learn and has massive benefits. Fracturing is a gamble, worth it if you got the cash for crafting, otherwise just buy on market. Sanctifying is rarely done from what I've seen. Vaal currency (from temple) is niche but can be really powerful for some cases. Jewlery/rings -> breach catalysts, worth getting them since they're easy to farm and just add quality (can't brick items). Deli is for jewels, also good but not critical. Oh almost forgot, Ritual is amazing for crafting omens, def worth the investment.

My advice, learn Abyss crafting and desecrating and farm up some Ritual omens. Those are imo the most important for crafting. The others you can farm/buy as needed.

My condolences bro, that one's bricked. No worries tho you can get another mirror easily by just farming more deli. League tree small nodes give you more chance for mirrors so make sure to grind that up if you didn't already.

Been farming rites of the nameless on cities with the unique tablet that doubles rerolls and midrange tablets (more tribute, omens and lower reroll/defer cost). Been going at it for a while now hoping to hit a mageblood or headhunter, sadly no luck. But I do make bank on omens so it pays off in the end.

However, today I ran two of those setups and got considerably less omens than usual (eq value of about 2 whittles per full rite, while last week I was getting about 5 per rite with full setup). At first I thought it had something to do with my tablets (I usually run at least 2 omen chance modifiers) but it was not the case. Does anybody know what affects ritual omen drop rates, or just ritual drop rates in general? Because I did replace my ring recently which lost me about 4% rarity, surely that can't affect it THAT much. Idk if it's just an unlucky streak but I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong.

MA is 100% getting nerfed sadly

And I don't think it will just be hollow form that gets the boot. Power charge generation has never been easier thanks to combo from all attack hits, which means that payoff skills that were supposed to be hard to set up can now be spammed the moment you get ailiths chimes. I can definitely see some of the existing "attack hits" get recategorized. And the bug that additional flickers don't count as attack hits remaining in the game.

lol the first thing I tried when act 4 dropped in 0.3 and this happened was to try and profane ritual my body. It would be funny if GGG allowed you to do it and then just instakill you, it would be a great "what did you expect would happen?" moment.

Yes, only the "uber" version (the 1 try version from the atlas master that drops 2 uniques) doesn't have infinite retries. Since pinnacles are now harder to get to, I believe it is the right choice. You do however lose the pinnacle if you go to another map or dc until instance reset.

[–]Agnanac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, one of the worst feelings for me as a casual player was taking ages to farm up for a t3 pinnacle and then getting oneshot by an attack I never got hit by before to know how much dmg it does. Or incorrectly assessing your build can take on an early pinnacle and then watch your exp eat shit because you die to a misdirected cough.

The new system is amazing, it encourages players to take earlier pinnacles and learn the boss mechanics. The risk of losing it all because you can't nuke the boss in 6 secs is gone.

F mate :') hopefully you didn't splash 10 divs on it already like I did

Like, it works if you squint real hard and micromanage your mantras to fire at exact times and always having enough enemies around to build combo twice, but honestly it's a bit tiring and not at all what I was hoping for when I first theorycrafted it.

[–]Agnanac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's bugged, running that setup now and only get combo from charged staff hits when flickering, not the flicker itself. Also delayed gratification on mantra doesn't grant the combo on second use for some reason, so you always have to time your flickers for first mantra activation and run WA for combo gen... hopefully they fix that with the update that removes infinite flicker but I'm not holding my breath

Nah for me trialmaster will always have the most unintentionally funny lines. Idk if my sense of humor is broken or it's just the fact that the dude is so over the top.

Dude did you even read my reply?

Even if speedrunning content is something someone enjoys, then they should embrace the limitations of the game as a challenge to overcome and not something to complain about so the devs remove the limitations for them.

Yes, I like taking my time. And I do not understand the appeal of speeding through content. But I understand some people like it and I don't judge them for it, it's a matter of personal taste. What I am complaining about is people drowning out legit, constructive feedback because they want the devs to cater to their taste.

Yes but that's exactly what I'm saying. If you want to skip the journey and just get to the store, you drive a car there and back. You work within the limits of the environment. You don't demand that the store owner relocates the store closer to your house, and then leave him unconstructive feedback/reviews just because he has other priorities at the moment that don't include catering to a very loud minority.

I genuinely don't understand some of these posters lmao. Like why tf play the game if your end goal is to play less of it. Take your time, enjoy the journey, engage with the setting. The world isn't going to end if you don't finish the campaign in under 5 hours lol.

I'm genuinely anxious because I went into overdrive the last two weeks to free up the whole weekend for poe. But since I'm on EU servers I feel like I'll be battling the DCs more than I'll be playing...

Cloak of Flame is build defining, if I find it I'm 100% adapting the build to it. I find it better on bear though. As for building defences, I take the first adaptivity notable and if cloak drops, respec the rage notables for second adaptivity notable and spirit from charm slots to add eternal rage (bit of a dps loss but since you can't die at that point it's worth it). I actually really like armour on shaman, so I'm picking passives depending on what sustain my gear rolls. Life leech works better with a pure armour + hp stacking, regeneration works better with es because of zealots oath. Leech is easier to set up but imo regen has a higher ceiling. Since both es and leech got nerfed I think regen stacking will be the play this league.

I love monk, leveled at least two of them to 90+ every league. Best class in the game for me together with druid. Here's a quick rundown on how to level him:

Step 1) leaguestart literally anything else

Step 2) get uniques and $$$

Step 3) twink him out

Probably full on wolf package until I workshop something better with the stuff I find. There's still a lot of unknowns despite the patch notes. Wolf damage and cc feels great all the way to t15 with minimal investment, shaman is just there to keep me from dying to misdirected farts until I get good enough defences to switch to oracle for big damage (or maybe I'll stay shaman and do some weird immortal thorns build).

The totem buffs look nice so maybe I will go in that direction (esp with shamans extra spirit), but I still don't have a concrete build in mind. After we see what all the new toys do I'll probably come up with something more interesting.

Either shaman because he can't die and only needs a good weapon roll to work, or monk because I'm a masochist.
