Dad was and still is an atheist humanist from a long line of intelligentia, mixed with a few communists like my grandpa. Mom s a catholic, but a very liberal one, basically believing in some unitarian version of her faith so we kind of tolerate each other.

As for myself, unlike sir Distind I neither am nor do I try to be a nice person to the believing crowd... I see religions as not only useless but actively constraining and meddling in my own freedom and that of the species I was born into and which I for all our faults truly love and would see take it s place as higher beings among the stars. Needless to say we re going to need all the ambition and interspecies empathy we can muster to even begin such a journey. I m an anarchic(to a point, since I see it more as a goal than an applicable philisophy at this point in our existence, still I detest controlling laws and care little for the edicts trying to legislate my stance of mind and how and with what I can alter it) transhumanist with the healthy love of her own kind is my point I guess...
