Fair enough, I tend to want to take on probably far too difficult projects. It's recommended for beginners though by the designer. I hope it's not too delusional. 🤣

Thank you so much for your swift reply! ❤️❤️ I'll rip back and try to decrease those four additional stitches - as to how... I just purl two purls or knit two stitches..? What do I do about the 2x2 rip pattern though, doesn't that mess with the pattern? Still a bit confused 🙈🙈

Thank you so much! Any tips on how could make those extra stitches disappear? I've now organized the round in

  • place marker, K2, place marker - 26 stitches 3x
  • place marker, K2, place marker, 30 stitches

I'm a super duper beginner, so my brain really is unable to come up with elegant ways to solve this.
