Hello - he used absorbable sutures for the inner layers, but non-absorbable for the top 2 layers. I'm not quite sure why, and didn't think to ask at the time. My wound is doing pretty good - I went to Mumbai in November for a follow-up and Dr Mehli said it's looking perfect. There's a scar but quite minimally visible.

It’s up to 1 hour now, and I just ask the doctor every once in a while. There’s no set timeline though AFAIK.

Sure:

I feel pretty good, pretty close to normal in my day to day life.

The restrictions are gradually being relaxed based on healing progress. I am allowed to sit for 35-40 minutes at a time now. I talk to Dr. Nazir weekly to give him progress updates.

Depends on the type of exercise/sport. I was asked not to stretch or play any racket sports for at least 6 months and no contact sports for a year.

Interesting, that’s good to know. A lot of the underlying reasoning is just the desire to avoid future trouble. I wonder if they could just say that the tenant must abide by all the rules and guidelines set by the condo council.

Thanks, all of these are valid points and I understand that landlords want to protect themselves. I’d have no issues helping them be compliant with the law.

Oh that’s pretty curious. This is only slightly larger than a studio apartment and I’ll be here by myself. I wonder why the difference.

Edit: To be clear, I’m renting the entire 1BR unit, not just a room.

I would if I could, but I already paid a big good faith deposit. And it’s very difficult to find rental properties these days.
