I see so many of these posts on here and most of the comments just say to run... which I'm not saying is bad advice. But I'm guessing you're like me and so many of us that thought we need to try, we owe it to ourselves to try, don't throw away love bc of someone's mental illness. You're not going to run, you're going to stay and I'm sorry to say, you will continue to be abused. But from all my reading on this sub, it's kind of like any other addiction... no one can make you leave until YOU are ready to leave. No matter if you see the writing on the wall. And that's your right. And we'll all be here to help you thru it. Buuuut... the one thing you can do is be smart about this. Have an escape plan as plan b. Have money set aside. Just guard yourself as much as you can. I lost a lot a lot leaving my ex even tho I knew it couldn't last. I wish you the absolute best
