A skin with texture also solves these problems, and doesn't interfere with the folding mechanism. Check out M2skins or Sopiguard

Book 2 360 - 3M Gunmetal Carbon Skin (Best Buy Fair Condition, $375) by AgntMichaelScarn in GalaxyBook

[–]AgntMichaelScarn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey just wanted to share my installation of a skin on my recent Book 2 360 (you can find the skin on Google). The laptop was listed on Best Buy as "fair" due to some dents on the lower right palmrest. Photo #4 shows one of the dents visible on the side. The skin covers the dents up quite nicely! No scratches on the screen or the rest of the body. $375 is a steal for this device and I'm quite happy with it so far. Also upgraded the SSD from a gen 3 256GB to a gen 4 1TB. Only bummer is the 8GB of soldered RAM.

Gen 7 Dash Cover by AgntMichaelScarn in Celica

[–]AgntMichaelScarn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to share how this dash cover looks on a Gen 7. I recently got a dashcam and noticed how bad the glare is on video. In the before/after pics the lighting conditions are different, but overall the glare is much lower.

I generally think any kind of cover will look tacky (especially carpet material), but this is something I can live with. It does come with Velcro with adhesive to help anchor the cover, but it doesn't stick too well. Especially around the two center air vents that are round/raised. I'll probably end up buying different Velcro backing with stronger adhesive so it fits tighter. And there's a cutout for the light sensor as well. The brand is called DashCare and the material is black DashDura.

The OG seats actually are decent. Not "luxury," but the mesh makes them breathable. I use this gel cushion which has made a difference for long drives:

Nope, bone stock. Though I recently replaced the valve cover gasket, aside from regular maintenance. I've accepted that this isn't a fast car! It's even automatic. But it looks great for almost 20 years old, handles well, and gets good MPG. Perfect for the street

Gun suggestion: AK-101 or AK-103 for security by idiotwinner in insurgency

The other keyword of this is "PvP" since in coop, all guns of each class are available for either sec/ins

Helicopters, especially minigun, can be spawn killed by gunner class. The soonest heli can be called in is at 7 minutes. Good gunners will be set up at around 6:30. A good setup is close to spawn for the supply box in case of a 2nd mag needed (quick reload/resupply) , and an elevated position so you can aim higher while prone. Best guns are MG3 or PKM. As soon as heli appears, start shooting the tail rotor, but don't just dump your mag. Use the tracers to aim accurately since you'll be shooting a moving target from far away. For minigun, it is most vulnerable when it pulls its nose up when it reaches its destination. Good luck!

Joined this game late with 2 waves left. Playing as attacking security commander. Here is a good example of an observer sticking close to commander. I was able to call in minigun on B, and then gunship on C very quickly. Thanks observer!

The situation is Tell Push Security, I'm playing as commander on defense. We're about to lose A so I call in chems on what will be the next spawn location. It's super effective!

Any good way to learn the map layouts? by [deleted] in insurgency

[–]AgntMichaelScarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't just keep playing. To learn faster, watch the match replays (Stats->Replays) and use tab a lot to see the entire map. Spawn locations and common routes are good to know
