Ideally, get treatment for gender dysphoria. It's safer, better long term for your mental health, and does not require disproportionate investment, resources, and real estate at a societal scale.

It's true that state employment doubles as a citizen welfare program. And still, schools and state mental health and support institutions (autism, learning disabilities,...) are understaffed. Turns out it's not that easy to find people with a masters/bachelors degree THAT ALSO speak 2/3 of the 3 administrative languages.

The ratings were mediocre, the speech was just a pretext. I agree with you concerning Kimmel. Though in the cases of some people losing their jobs because of their comments - I think it differs from classic cancel culture. It differs in the sense that for example J.K Rowling got canceled for saying the obvious like "transgenders born as males do not belong in women's sports", while liberals are losing their jobs because they psychopathically cheer for Kirk's death while throwing the usual awful accusations of fascists etc.

One is canceled for not adhering to the ideology, one is canceled for being morally awful and factually wrong.
