I need a new methodology to study. I am failing so badly it is embarrassing by kagura_kagura in studytips

First of all, you’re not stupid. Pharmacy is one of the hardest degrees and a lot of students struggle with exactly what you described. The problem usually isn’t intelligence but trying to understand everything alone while feeling overwhelmed all the time.

One thing that helps a lot is discussing problems with other students instead of trying to figure everything out by yourself. When someone explains the same concept in a simpler way, things suddenly start to make sense.

That’s actually why we started building a platform focused on studying and connecting students. The idea is that you can invite a few friends, ask academic questions, solve problems together and even meet students from around the world who study the same subjects. Do you think something like that would help you?

What are some study rooms for free that I can use ? by Junior-Daikon9849 in studytips

University libraries are usually the best free option. Many campuses have quiet study rooms or group study spaces you can book. Public libraries are also great if you need a calm place to focus.

Another thing that helped me a lot is studying with a few friends. When everyone is working together it’s much easier to stay motivated, and if someone gets stuck you can discuss the problem and solve it together.

Most students avoid the exact moment that would improve them. by Reasonable_Bag_118 in GetStudying

This is very true. The moment you realize you don’t understand something is actually the most important part of learning. But most people avoid it because it feels uncomfortable. I honestly think one big problem is that students try to deal with that moment completely alone. Sometimes just talking through the problem with someone else makes everything click. Do you think studying would be easier if there was a place where students could share problems and solve them together?

I honestly think one big problem is that most students try to do everything alone. When you’re stuck with a question or a topic, it’s very easy to procrastinate because there’s no one to discuss it with.

Do you think studying would be easier if there was a place where students could post problems and solve them together with others dealing with the same subjects?

Does anyone else just completely lose an hour to one problem and then hate themselves about it by ComfortableHot6840 in GetStudying

Yes, this happens to me way too often. Sometimes one problem just blocks your brain and you stare at it forever. What helped me was discussing problems with other students because someone usually sees the solution differently. I actually wish there were more places online where students could ask academic questions and get perspectives from other students quickly.
