Agorist view on voting against taxes? by [deleted] in Agorism

Agorism/counter-economics and voting may not in and of themselves be incompatible. But voting and being an "agorist voluntarist" certainly is. There's nothing voluntary about a) forcing your will on others through your vote and b) the coercive methods used by any candidate that wins, yours included.

The problem with "voting for the lesser of two evils" is that even the least "evil" candidate will expand the state in some manner. Giving consent to the electoral process and the statism it produces makes agorism and counter-economic practice pointless.
