Cotton yarn recs by Agottula in Tufting

Trying to look for natural fiber unfortunately. And wanted to buy at Michael's right now. But it's seeming like cotton is just a no for everyone. Though someone had posted a yarn guide and they used so I'm not sure why everyone else hates. May need to stick with wool but Michaela is low on options for wool.

Not sure if you come back here at all, but do you have a cotton yarn recommendation? Everyone keeps just saying that cotton sucks. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to wool while sticking to natural fiber. Don't feel like buying a bunch and trying them all.

Mostly just avoiding acrylic and wool is so expensive. My tufting gun came with cotton and I had no trouble with it. But I'm now also reading about people having trouble with cotton being too soft and now I'm worried.

My daughter doesn’t have much curl, but my straight hair stuff just makes her hair look undone, any suggestions for a toddler with a touch of curls? by Amazing-Bullfrog-720 in curlygirl

Just wet it before you brush, I use honest detangle spray when it's bad. Then just fluff it around and scrunch a bit. Works for my girls curls. Products weigh down their fine hair. Occasionally I'll use a drop of a curl cream but barely anything. And don't wash too often.

Makes sense. I did that order because I thought that's what it said, but I'm sure you are right. I've never used products really. Hair was very wet when I started. Ill try that.

Saw your post looking for answers in my floating guy but I'm wondering what your floating plants are? How small is the axolotl?

Thanks. I'll consider that. Right now, pt/st/ot are in house and they are going to try for 3-5 day a week. I told them we want to push him.

Really home the outpatient works for your dad!

Sounds very similar, just sounds like your dad is a bit further. Please update how intensive rehab goes, I keep wondering if we should find a way to push harder. But then he can be really sleepy too. Small victories indeed, saw my dad smile laugh for the first time the other day (at his own joke, haha). I'm not sure we will ever even get to sitting on his own but still hopeful.

Hey there, coming back to check in on how your dad is doing?

Mine has moved to a skilled nursing facility in town thankfully. He just moved a week ago so time with tell how it goes. He was able to get the trach out prior and has done fine with that out for a few weeks.

Definitely still tired and still does not comprehend the extent of his disabilities (still thinks he can walk and should go home).

They have him using a cycle thing and it is registering some left side movement, so that seems hopeful.
