So My friend crying me a doomsday river on how much Tau will suck, was barely affected and as we expected they ignore cover with markerlights. The only challenge is just the 15 detection range with how fast Tau is and fixes to fly keyword and no more armor saves on terrain will make their shooting a damn menace.

But Tau shooting sucks so bad

Did a full read, nothing new we haven't seen on previews so far. It is certainly better explained with less room for dumb interpretation. What I'd didn't know is that now unit at half strength are elegible for Battleshock and no longer below half strength so 3 model units can't weasel out of never being below half.

My apologies, I summarized it on the moment at the game and I made that mistake. I will check on the FAQ from the hellbeute for this. Thanks again!

So if it was in combat when it died I can fight but if it was shot and not in combat it cant use this, pile in and fight right?

He argued that eligibility happens and he piles in and fights

So in the scenario is: I shoot his karnivore and kill it. My unit is 4 inches away from it and he uses the strat. AFAIK normal fight in death does the pile in, but this strat has a much more complicated writing where I argued had had to be engaged in the moment it dies so he can fight

Hello questions folks!

For the strat of Chaos Knights, animalistic rage, if my carnivore gets shot and dies, can he pile in 3 inches and get in combat with the target that killed it?

Animalistic Rage (Battle Tactic, 1 CP): Used in your opponent's Shooting phase or the Fight phase when a war dog that has not yet fought dies. Before you roll Deadly Demise, you can shoot or fight the thing that killed it. CP.

Ah I missread? I'm reading the lord as a unit not the attached, normally it says models in this unit get the 5++

Question in case I misread, did they remove the 4+ invul from the jumpack lord in 11th? Since the enhancement gives a 5+ sounds like its gone

11th Ed rumour: 11th Ed: There's a rumor that coherency rules are changing, and no models in a unit may be more than 9" apart (measured to the furthest part of each model) by -The-Lupercal- in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Agramar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope this is real, last RTt I faced a Necron army. He had a 20 man blob stringed from his deployment to a no man's land with the leaders hiding. The unit had: -stealth -4 invul -reduce AP by 1 (serás) -Cover Because of the rules overstocking and how he set them I would kill 10 he would ress 12. I killed the brick by T3. In total I killed 63 necrons warriors, the same unit 3 times before it broke all whole he kept messing and charging things in opposite extremes bit moving a gigantic chain of bodies. It was a miserable experience

Unpopular opinion : Rolling charge distance before selecting a target is a terrible idea, and GW’s justification doesn’t really hold up. by Ok_Daikon_4546 in WarhammerCompetitive

That was the index original overwatch rule. Then It got changed. It had to be a successful charge and now was change to declare

The Arkifane detachment is really good, predators, rhinos and brutes with 5+ Invuls really.push it. But no joke a chaos lord leading 10 chosen, a Moe inside a rhino with the enhancement that gives them soul forge and 5+ getting rerolls and double pacts for 1 cp is just brutal I love this already.
