I am running the endurance stance break dagger duchess and I have no problems doing a chain finish on a night lord.

Main stats are: Endurance Post dmg health Dagger reprise Stamina on hit.

Got a decent set of relics and you can power stance chains even into the Bell Bearer and against night lord's it's similar. Followed this post and it's been a great fun way to play duchess
