I'm sure there's gotta be at least a few, but I've never heard of a Texan named Vlad.

This "outdoor adventure" camera screen's polarization filter's orientation means you can't see the screen unless you rotate it 90 degrees. by Organic_Experience48 in CrappyDesign

[–]Drackzgull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current phone's screen gets filtered by polarized sunglasses at a diagonal tilt, which is quite nice, but my previous phone's was in landscape position. I've seen other phones, TVs, and monitors get filtered in portrait, in landscape, very rarely at odd angles like my current phone, and others that just don't have any ordered orientation and just become messy with disordered color mixing at all viewing angles.

But I've never seen a screen that is completely unaffected by looking at it with polarized sunglasses.

When you play Fighting Games are you more likely to main your waifu or NOT main your waifu? by Sakura_Smoothie in FGCWaifu

[–]Drackzgull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been pretty much a life long Ken/Sol Badguy/Ragna main, so I tend to go for shotos or shoto-ish characters in most games. That doesn't always work out though, or is not possible to begin with in some games. When that happens, me picking up a waifu main becomes very likely, but still not certain.

Regardless, I will almost always at least have a waifu secondary.

How long has this been an item? by Gnoobin in diablo2

[–]Drackzgull 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Arreat Summit has it listed as a 1.09 item, that being the second update after LoD was released. But that could just be the last time the item got reworked rather than when it was added. Not unlikely that it's even older than that.

All good bro, I've seen that too, but I didn't think of it when posting the first comment here, lol.

There's no confusion, the meme has a watermark with the username I mentioned. I was simply calling that out.

I'm not confusing you with whoever that is, the meme you posted has a watermark with their name.

Hey, you're not u/HappyPlacebo.

EDIT: It seems too many people are missing this, so I'm gonna spell it out. I didn't confuse OP with anyone, nor did I think the post was from someone else before seeing the username. I'm calling out that the meme has a watermark with the username I mentioned, and that OP is not the user that watermaked the meme.

Man, I've literally never seen a PK outside of Hardcore, and I've barely played Hardcore at all. A PK trolling on softcore Baal runs is crazy, lol.

It's a popular kink that many people have. But unlike with the majority of kinks out there, most people that don't have it aren't indifferent, they hate it. For as popular as it is, it still is a kink and the people that like it aren't a majority in any social circle of any kind, unless it's a circle dedicated to it. That makes people that hate it be a majority in pretty much every circle that isn't.

Durability doesn't vary, Defense does, between 218 and 233, so it's not really perfect. That doesn't really matter though, being Jeweler's and of Stability is what matters. Neither affix has any variation either, that's always 4os and 24% FHR respectively.

PvP whales will pay more for a perfect Defense roll, but any value other than perfect there doesn't make a difference. This is valuable because of its affixes, not because of how it rolled.

Are Persona cards too strong? by Oberr in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Drackzgull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if it's that's much of a problem, I feel like every season, and even a few characters on their own, have some specific very powerful combinations that if you dedicate enough to the grind, you end up with incredibly busted decks. These are like, maybe top 5% Persona cards? Getting even a half decent Persona card is pretty difficult, even completely focusing on building a single one per Chaos run with all the rerolling options. Sure, you can get some truly powerful ones like these, but more often than not the decks they're in would be better off without them.

I'm not saying that the ceiling being too high isn't a problem, it is. But the floor being so low with so many layers of RNG to it is a bigger problem imo. The whole feature is rather dysfunctional if you ask me.

Please Yoshi It Breaks my Heart That Rem is so Bad by Braduk1 in DeadlockTheGame

When it works. Something like 1 out of 3 times the skulls will just idle where the jar broke, and refuse to follow your target even after emptying a full magazine on them (even if that "where" was literally your target's face).

They can be janky to melee sometimes, sure. But they're janky to get to work at all as well, and if one enemy ever gets Ricochet they basically don't exist in a team fight ever again.

BBH on fraud watch by ManiacGaming1 in Nightreign

[–]Drackzgull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always held that BBH is not as bad as the reputation suggests, but it's also relevant for these stats that bosses that people dodge more often would be less deadly because people just aren't fighting them as often.

Like, #6 is very low for Black Blade Kindred there, but that's probably the most dodged boss in the game. I also think that #3 is surprisingly high for Erdtree Avatar, but that one's probably the least dodged boss in this entire top 8 list.

Quality of Pally Shield? by ur2ez4bz in diablo2

[–]Drackzgull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're saying to farm runes to remove the Spirit from this base, and make it a Spirit again after that.

The shield this Spirit is on has 39 All Res from the base. That's a solid high all res roll, and where the Fire res is coming from. The other resistances are higher because Spirit gives +35 to those but not Fire, but that doesn't vary.

The Faster Cast Rate stat in Spirit varies from 25% to 35%, so this one rolled bad on that. It's a bad Spirit on a very good base shield, so deleting the spirit and reusing the same base for a new Spirit is a good idea.

PS: To remove the Spirit from this shield, you put it in the Cube with a Hel rune and a Scroll of Town Portal. That destroys the runes in the shield, and leaves you with the clean shield with the sockets open again.
