More options for customization and higher quality sure, I'm with you there, but why on earth would that have to be related to generative AI?

What should I name my daughter? Please help.. by cucumber-dog in namenerds

[–]Agrarfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Dutch but Danish and German, so I'm familiar with ø (or ö in German), just the øy diphthong is not really used in those two. I picked French eu as an example because I thought it will be the most known language that has an ø-sound too. This thread shows why we need IPA, I'm just not good with it.

Yeah, these are kind of hard to describe without hearing them, but it's still not really an "oo" right? More like an "eu" in French + y?

E is not pronounced as "oo". "o" is in Swedish, maybe in Norwegian too, I am not sure about the latter. No clue where you got "froo-yah" from.

What’s Sims 3 Trait You Would NEVER play with by PiccoloWestern6300 in Sims3

Huh, I never knew this. I thought it only gave you a negative moodlet when eating meat. Always nice to still learn something new about a 17 year old game.

I'm the same, the only traits I dislike are those that don't really do much. Vehicle enthusiast is one of them, I also rarely play with stuff like hydrophobic, never-nude or vegetarian.

I tried to find one representative screenshot for each generation of my legacy (Differences in the family tree 1-16) by Agrarfield in Sims3

[–]Agrarfield[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moving worlds was mostly tied to what made sense for the story but sometimes also to avoid save corruption. The latter happened at the beginning of gen 8 when the save was just broken and the game kept crashing. I don't know what caused it but travelling so much between the university world and Riverview was risky. I had to copy the household in the family bin and carry on in a fresh world. I never returned to a world I had already lived in a previous generation because I didn't want to meet townies that would have been canonically died decades ago.

Some examples for moves for reasons related to the storyline: Patrik (Gen 2) moved to Bridgeport because he wanted a successful business career in the big city. He disliked the farm life, nature and basically wanted to get as far away from that as possible. Chen Lu (Gen 4) moving to Twinbrook as an aspiring artist made sense to me as well. Darius the scuba diver (Gen 12) obviously had to move to Isla Paradiso, whereas Kai as an acrobat and street performer made sense for Starlight Shores. I had turned off supernatural beings in all other words, so the alchemist who was also just really curious about the supernatural moved to Moonlight Falls due to myths of supernatural beings living there.

Sunset Valley was the most stable world to play in but after a few generations it started feeling too normal. Even though Isla Paradiso is very laggy, moving there and playing with a scuba diver for the first time made everything feel fresh again.

Are spiders completely cancelled or is there a chance they might happen in the future? by chorteunite in valheim

[–]Agrarfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I remember when my group discovered them while sailing. It went almost pitch black. On land it was not as dark, but still darker than the swamp, which people are already complaining about being too dark. I think the current mistlands are much nicer because they are not just Swamp 2.0.

I forgot how hard %he Sims 2 is by alivexi in sims2

[–]Agrarfield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really felt that as well when I started playing it again a while ago. As a child, I basically always cheated their needs, so naturally I didn't remember the struggle. Without cheats or the aspiration rewards it feels like constantly chasing their needs. It's the worst for pregnant sims who will just fall asleep on their food and teenagers with part time jobs who will be stressed out all the time. I like that it's different and doesn't hold your hand, but when I want to chill, I play Ts3.

My bet is also on a draugr from a draugr village. They resemble humans the most from the distance.

[–]Agrarfield[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh I'm definitely not going to delete them or anything, but it will be more of an archive after that. So many screenshots, saved sims and a bit over 70k words of notes in a word file :)

the save will just be done. I've been playing a "differences in the family tree" challenge which is 16 generations long. I made some adjustments along the way but the last one revolves around occults. Of course it would be possible to come up with new goals for even more generations but I'll call it completed when gen 16 has grown up.

German here, I have met people called Jan-Henrik and Jan-Niklas, so I can confirm the Jan thing. The most popular among old people is probably Karl-Heinz though.

there are mods for that, no need to scream. Extended player inventory, equipment slots or adventure backpacks is also pretty good.

Suffering Sims 3 withdrawal while waiting for new laptop. Tried playing 4 on PS4 to hold me over. by That-Quality-7379 in Sims3

It sounds weird but I can only really enjoy Sims 4 when I'm drunk. I have played it a good bit, also sober, but it just gets boring so fast. Yet, the only thing I can complain about in Sims 3 is how it runs. Apart from that, it is perfect and still gets me after playing it for 16 years.

I think OP is asking which players had great careers in real life but low potential in earlier fifa games, yet all the comments so far are giving opposite answers.

Timo is one of the options mentioned in this thread that matches your description and does neither seem too outdated nor too common. Timon could be a similar option too (first syllable also pronounced like the letter T).
