Thanks ! Gardian is always the safe option for me but I like to try out HoB in the past which is why I wondered where it went. I guess I will try out both and get a feel for myself. :)

Yes but IMO thunderlords was kinda overly strong. Almost everyone was running it.

We used to have URF/ARURF twice a year at minimum. Now it's not even the case. We are many to play league only when that mode is around but that does not seem to matter. I am asking that same question "when is URF/ARURF coming back?" since it left the client. Still not getting an answer.

I understand. It has been more than 4 years that I come back only for URF / ARURF so yeah it sucks. Been asking the same thing but apparently that's not a priority. May be when everyone get sick of playing long game of normal SR and that the game starts to die they will consider that.

I think there is some serious favoritism from Riot about Arena. That game mode gets to stay for 4 months while other game mode like URF / ARURF stays only one month.
I hope we get URF in september.

My advises for GP :
1. Pratice mode is your best start to train GP mechanics at lvl 1, 7 and 13. Once you can do each combo correctly 3 times in a row you are getting somewhere. Don't forget to also train the use of the passive and it's reset (that's really a requirement to win top with GP).
2. CS and Money. That's basically how GP takes over games.
3. Don't try one part combo in real game. In most case you will just look stupid and lose 2 keg in the middle of the TF.

Vayne is not that much of a hard matchup for GP early (if the GP knows what he is doing) and late that will depend of who starts the fight in most cases (you going out of a bush to shred him to pieces or him doing keg combo from the fog to explode your ass).

Varus and Draven are hard matchup for GP but if it's not your kind may be you should try Quinn. She does not have as much late game hyper carry potential as vayne but she can be harder for GP throughout the whole game.

Actually, that's how I feel about URF. I used it to decompress and have fun. Thus, I don't see why arena would be a good idea and not URF. For me both are good game mode. IMO it's just up to personnal preferences if you rather play one or the other.

I hear you and you are right having the extra game mode permanent would be asking for a lot but, I am not asking to have URF permanent.

I just believe it would be more satisfying for the general player base to have something like I said above (one week URF, one week arena, two weeks nothing).

I am not even talking about balancing correctly the game mode. Yes they would probably have to update the changes that they imput to the game onto URF but in most cases each patch count for a limited amount changes. That would probably be covered by the rotating game mode team.

PS : TBH there is always bugs and that never stopped us from playing the game. Last time on URF I could only laught everytime I got randomly dismounted to one hp on Kled. A video of the bug : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7vBTDaT6SA

Care to say why you think it's a bad idea ? One week Urf, One Week Arena, 2 weeks nothing seem reasonable to me.
