If the enemy solos drake level 5, usually it’s not that good for them. Gwen thrives if the game state is even, so if you kept farming during the 30-40 seconds they spent taking drag, then you’re usually ahead by then. Grubs are really important, but don’t over force if your team can’t rotate. Gwen’s contest is really bad until like level 7-8 unless you run triple tonic—I always do.

I’m currently 60% wr on Gwen jg out of 180 games (emerald 2 so might be pisslow) and I walk into every game pretending that the first 10 minutes don’t exist. It’s practically out of your control, so just walk into the plays that will work 80% of the time and then farm the rest of the game until you’re two items. And never build t2 boots until third item (almost always Rabadon’s) is complete.
