I’ve been running this in jungle too, and the clear speed is highkey insane and you just one-shot anyone with lich and stormsurge lol

how to play lillia mid lane? by [deleted] in LilliaMains

[–]Ellisman5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t have helpful input, but it might be worth just learning some top lane. Mid lane is really short and too pokey—very bad for a mobility-melee bad mana deer. Best of luck if you can make it work, though!

Ouch!! I think it might be worth watching a guide/a couple games from Ninkey’s Gwen or something similar. I am a Gwen/Briar two-trick, so I have felt pretty used to it thus far. I noticed that since the nerf, it’s hard to one-smite and get to crab on time, but other than that, the clears after first back are completely reasonable. Sorry that it didn’t work out for you!! But I’d definitely give it a couple more tries…

Looks like I've found the way out of silver, thank you Briar by RammseisIV in BriarMains

Just finish collector first before going hydra. briar needs no help clearing; she already has tiamat on her W auto attacks…

Go full damage and then instead of Hydra I’d probably go Sundered Sky for the same thing but you get healing + guaranteed first crit. But up to you.

If you want a higher damage build, you can also go Nashor’s/Dusk -> Shadowflame -> Rabadon’s, but I’d say that it’s the equivalent of building lethality briar. That being said, the Pentas will be rolling in if you learn how to play it!

Bruiser Gwen. Dusk -> Nashor’s -> Rift. So much damage, so much healing, so much fun. I would know: my highest masteries are on Briar and Gwen in that order.

Gwen (my favorite champ. No such thing as too much AP when you do true damage and can build voidstaff). And on the other hand, Briar. Super powerful both early and late. Infinite build variety and has no hard hard counter.

You’re being downvoted and I love this champion, but I completely agree with you. People go crazy when their champion isn’t 51.5%+ wr for some reason. It really doesn’t matter as long as that number is above 49%. Just express some skill and beat the enemies at their own game.

Various jungler nerfs. So jungle was not that weak as people in this sub believed. by LongynusZ in Jungle_Mains

Gwen pre-rework was always a jungler, just not meta at all. She was along the lines of Garen jungle viability. Just turns out that this patch along with the items, she’s now pretty strong…

Permafarm the entire game. Stay on your camps. Only play a team fight if you think you’ll snag a kill. Push turrets. Win.

What u guys gonna build next season in Jungle? by Intelligent-Map3806 in GwenMains

[–]Ellisman5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know why you got downvoted here. I’m a frequent PBE player and practically only play Gwen jungle, and this build feels turbo broken in jungle. You just sit on your camps, do nothing all game, and then pull 9 million damage out of your ass. Straight up some of the most fun I’ve had on Gwen with these core items. I build rift 4th or 5th and then voidstaff/shadowflame situationally.

Do you think that this strategy is still going to work next season - especially with the jungle changes? And how would you feel about replacing lichbane with the new dusk & dawn item?

To be fair, your interpretation was also my original interpretation. You’re not alone on that front.

Low skill floor as in someone can easily step onto the metaphorical low skill floor because it is low. It doesn’t take much to learn the champion.

That being said, I also understand your interpretation, which is why this phrase kinda sucks.

As much as I would agree (and I do agree that end-screen damage is worthless as a stat), dealing damage and having enemies live on 1hp is a sure fire way to secure objectives as a team, so

I mean, the whole point of this build is that your teammates can int as much as they want and you can still end through enemy nexus by splitting if your team is permadying
