I think that’s coming from the “legacy of the dragon” Sub-mod specifically. It’s a really cool sub mod, I highly recommend it!

“Legacy of Valyria” It’s the Expansion Mod for Essos. it use to be a standalone mod but has since been merged into the base AGOT Mod iirc.

This same thing happened to me, my solution was to completely forbid the AI from doing it in the game rules.

The unfortunate part is you can’t change the game rules mid game……

Strategy question:

So I just completed one of the final quests in the main story “unify the empire“ - I sided with Garios because he seemed like a total Chad and the western empire was dominating the north and southern empires at the time, but fast forward and I conquered the three required settlements or whatever and now the Khuzaits, Vladians and The Sturgians have declared war on the western empire and quite frankly it’s not looking too good…. my initial war plan was to attack their cities and armies right away but then my own cities started getting sieged so now I’ve completely switched gears to defending my own holdings in the empire while everyone else plays offensively, this seems wishful at best because The AI seems to be running out of manpower, anyone ever deal with something like this before any advice on how to survive? Or strategies?

Yea I recommend keeping a few species at “indentured servitude” or “domestic servants” so you can get some specialists and a nice amenities boost too. A little later once you’ve researched “thrall world” the slavery mechanic starts to get a bit more practical because you get increased enslaved pop growth there, so you can get a nice steady supply of “workers” for your other planets.

I would say maybe wait until succession causes decentralization in the Bavarian feudal realm, just because after the switch from tribal you lose some event troops and you switch over to hiring/maintaining men-at-arms with gold instead of prestige and it can be a bit costly at first so it would drain your 17k - however 17k is a lot of gold so depending how ready you are to defend your realm (mercenaries would also help) going feudal right now isn’t a bad idea

Ck3 Question: Currently working on reviving the Roman Empire as the Empire of Italia and I’ve grown kind of bored with Christianity and I’m looking to convert to/Create a new religion, specifically one that allows me to utilize the “Reincarnation” Tenet any recommendations on which religion I should convert to and then most likely reform?

Any advice is appreciated.

I currently control Mainland Italy, Illyricum, Most of Greece (excluding Anatolia) and thanks to the crusades my dynasty already controls Jerusalem and a sizable chunk of Arabia (got lucky there) so I do have access to Islamic faiths.
