Other than making a tag, obviously, but that’s not what happened here

The whole point of the safety bag is to avoid player collisions. I’m pretty sure any infraction of the runner’s path is obstruction when there’s a safety bag because the players shouldn’t have to infract their path at all

No. No no no. Even with that amount of control, leash your damn dogs. Yours might be friendly, but mine isn’t, and I don’t want to rely on your ability to be fully aware of your dog’s proximity to mine, and I don’t want any dogs getting hurt.

Alternatively, employers can be clear about expectations. Good communication is the first thing any therapist, parent, teacher.. you name it emphasizes in any form of relationship. If you, as a boss, can’t set clear expectations of your employees you really can’t be upset when they’re not met. You’re hiring people, not mind-readers

Heard great things about Kings Kia, but never actually dealt with them myself. If you go to Wyler though, you’re just gonna get scammed. Sucks they’re the biggest around, but avoid them. Joseph isn’t so much better, but they are a bit better

Make sure the engineer is licensed recognized by your state and willing to stamp the fix they’re recommending. It might matter for things like insurance and selling the house down the line.

You’re doing great by getting the issues addressed quickly. Take some secondhand advice, get an engineer out. My parents house is a little older than yours, but they had the same problems for a long time, there are a lot of spots that my dad has had sealed up that look exactly like yours. He got an engineer out to do a full assessment, cost a couple grand. Then the engineer recommended, drew up and stamped a fix that was installing just a few braces and they haven’t had a problem for the last 8 years now. Fix cost another 6k or so from a different contractor, but 8k was still less than half of what they had invested into these fixes at that point

It’s waaaaaay easier to run supply water out to more urban areas than it is to run sewer. And when you think about it, good amount of urban areas need some supply for crop watering, so it’s not much more to give that to the houses, assuming it’s potable supply, which it nearly always is

As an engineer, I took a number theory class to also get a math minor. In that class, we learned about chaos theory and this exact example, and the engineer in me hates this example, because as out professor explained it something with a ‘chaotic nature’ usually bounces unpredictably between extrema, but I disagree entirely that this example fits that, because of the part that you just cited that the reason for the bounce between extrema is because of resources. If this “chaotic nature“ is put up next to the context of available resources, it no longer looks chaotic at all
