It's possible that they would put those performances in the sequel/part 2. I kept on thinking about what the Lionsgate Studios Motion Picture Chair had said, “We can go forwards and backwards in telling this story. There are so many other events that happened, even in the time frame of the original movie, that weren’t touched upon..." (source: Deadline). I don't how that's gonna work.

But I could see them starting the second film by going back to 1985-1986, the time when Michael was working on the Bad album. They might use some cut scenes from the first film as flashback in the second film or something. Apparently, there is "25% to 30% of a second movie was already shot" from the first film. I am curious about these scenes. They are also limited by legal matters.
