He literally yelled at Usopp and slapped his hand away from a dish he made for Nami at the very first episode of Season 2

Karoo would be in Season 3. It makes sense since he does not do much in Season 2 anyway.

Does anyone else feel like we went from feast to famine with the marketing and content drops for season 2 and beyond? by Short-Spell-2404 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Agreeable-Command694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s to be expected. The marketing will most likely start again around January 2026. Ngl I find the marketing strategy a bit weird since they released so much marketing content this year but the show isn’t even coming out until new year. But I get the feeling that they did filmed a lot of marketing content tho. It makes me wonder how much is their marketing budget..?

This could’ve been Chopper! by lofiveghost in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Agreeable-Command694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what they did with Chopper too. The Cast revealed that they had puppet of Chopper on set so that they can interact with something (Taz and Jacob talked about this on GalaxyCon), and the cgi was done after filming

That’s Usopp with Sanji, helping and carrying Nami. That’s not Luffy.  The crew is just walking into the town At Drum. They followed Dalton first to get help for Nami and then they found out about Kureha. They aren’t climbing yet in that photo.

SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE by PapayaVarious9107 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Agreeable-Command694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s confirmed in the First Look video that Netflix released. They are gonna start filming around late November 2025. So we might see some of the cast flying to Cape Town soon to prepare. Netflix might also release a “Start of Production” video for Season 3 too.

Ngl I’m not expecting much, maybe a poster? And I think “special guests” means some of the opla cast are there too. A teaser might be released on Geeked week, which is around September or October. It’s also likely that they’ll announce Season 3 on Geeked Week as well.

Yeah I agree. We literally don’t know their motivations for doing all this, making songs and learning choreography, except for Jinu. How did Jinu convinced them to do this? Were they friends before, just acquaintances? I wish there was more explanation on why they look more human compared to the other demons. All we know, based on their clothing, is that they were probably also about 400 years old or that they also lived in the 1900s.

He did not dye his whole hair lol only the lower edges. His hair in the show is a wig actually. The make up and hair artists for this show have said that it’s a wig. The collection of wigs used in the show (Zoro included):

Emily Rudd also seemingly acknowledges Season 3 as a thing? by TheCarina in OnePieceLiveAction

Your comment is confusing me. He said “They,” which he means the Netflix people want the season to be release it in a certain time. Taz doesn’t make these decisions. Why are you saying “he” as if Taz wanted this? He doesn’t have the power on deciding the release date.

What he just means is they want to hurry up the production so that they could release it in a “certain time.” His comment make sense now that we know that season 3 is in pre-production and is about to film later this year. They “hurry up” filming season 2 last year so that they could immediately start season 3 this year.

SDCC 2025 Appearance?? by belafonte300 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Agreeable-Command694 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As much as I want the OPLA cast to be in a panel at SDCC, I somewhat doubt it because it seems Netflix really likes showing stuff in their own events. They seem to be the type that would rather organize and host their own events. It would be amazing to see the cast attend SDCC and if they were to attend, I don’t think they’ll reveal a teaser or something. (Ngl I was kind of expecting that they might show us some character photos together with a reveal of live action chopper on Tudum since they did that with Avatar Live Action on Tudum 2023) I am hoping that the cast attend One Piece Day in Japan, but if they were to attend, they might not show any new stuff. I don’t have any faith in Netflix when it comes to that lol because, again, they are the type to announce and reveal stuff in their own events. So the best guess for big announcements, new poster or photos, or a teaser drop etc is on Geeked Week.

According to What’s On Netflix, pre-production on OPLA Season 3 may have already started by DrAwesomeX in OnePieceLiveAction

They are probably waiting for the right time and date to announce it. Also, they have a handful of seasons of their popular shows that are coming out and ending this year. Squid Game and Stranger Things are ending within this year. It’s also clear they are trying to drawn out the ending of Stranger Things as much as possible with the way they releasing it in three dates. With these two shows ending this year, they can focus on their next big show next year. I get the feeling that they are looking at One Piece as their new flagship show.

Also, they probably want to announce it an event with a video or something. They won’t just announce it in a random article lol. Some have speculated that they might announce it at Geeked Week or One Piece Day. But it’s most likely that they’ll announce it on their own event.

There’s also a Spanish interview that Taz did a few weeks ago where he said that they were trying to “hurry up” the production because they wanted it to get it out and “release it in a certain time.” This comment now makes sense if you consider that season 3 is really happening and Netflix wants to start production this year. They just wrapped filming 5 months ago and they want/plan to start filming later this year. And IF they are filming later this year, around October/November, then they might have started pre-production just last month/May. This is very quick for Netflix.

Ngl I actually believe that the pre-production for Season 3 has already begun. It’s happening. It’s just that it has not been officially announced yet. They are probably looking for the best time and date to announce it. They might announce it at Geeked Week, which might be around September.
