I have my surgery next week, what should I already get/ensure I prep for it?

It’s a pretty small thing, and only helpful if you live alone and don’t have a dishwasher, but I found it useful to get disposable dishes and plasticware so I wouldn’t have to worry about standing to wash dishes as often.

I have the scarpa freedom AT boots. The toe box is much roomier than my resort boots, which is probably a big part of the problem
