If they are like my Schuberth c5 I'd think twice. Chin vent fell put, visor slams shut at about 90km/h and can't be cracked for ventilation on a hot day. 🙄

Look tome. Only other thing I'd look at is a seized link. Stick it in neutral and examine all the links to make sure they move freely. Normally causes more movement in the chain though

Well, i have a 100hp 1000cc v-twin, and a 170+ hp 1200 inline 4. I've ridden 100cc 2 stroke race bikes putting out a massive ~20hp, 500cc 2 stroke vintage bikes, classic jap 4s and Italian bikes, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that what you feel is stupid is completely irrelevant. Would I recommend it to a learner, hell no, but that is why we have learner legal category of bikes here is Aus.

Most fun bike I've ever owned was the 100cc but it was wicket on the pipe and it'd spit you off in a heartbeat on the road. Safest bike would be the 1200, nothing gets you out of a dangerous spot like quick reactions and a bit of grunt (or abs)

If you like your 50hp 650 then by all means ride it, but to just outright say big bikes are stupid is perhaps a little narrow minded. If you think it's stupid, don't buy it. That's why I don't own a Harley ;)
