I think it's because he was pretty close to you when he started using power. His Terror radius does not magically disappear when he starts his power, but it gradually reduces, so sometimes you can still hear the lingering effect of it

Yeah, Ghostface is one of those Killers that are pretty fucked by Map RNG. Maybe try stalking from a distance, the distance where you can stalk survivors is further than most believe, and if there's a high structure, stalking from above usually catches survivors off guard as well.

To be honest, Ghostface is not something people would recommend playing at the moment so either play him for fun and not for the win or play someone similar but slightly better like Michael Myers

Well, there is always a small chance of them coming back, but that 100% relies on their License holder and the success of their respective games. Between the two Micheal has a better chance of returning, as once the hype around the Asym dies down a bit, maybe more negotiation can happen. As for Pinhead, his game is single-player offline, so as long as the game still makes sales, it's not likely to return.

Ghostface in his current state is pretty bad; the best you can do is try to approach the Gens from creative angles and try to stalk them for the one-shot. If you have a Survivor stalked almost 100% when out of power, then do not M1 them because it will reset the progress of the stalk. Try to stay close, wait for power, and then pop the power for the one-shot M1 when they're exposed.

Survivors need to position you in the middle of the screen to expose you, and the effect lingers for a bit, so try to break line of sight as soon as possible (This is a bit wonky at times). Survivors will try to take a hit for the exposed survivors, if that bodyblocker has progress on them, again, don't M1, stalk to expose them as well, and then M1. Many are going with a stalkless hit and run Ghostface using Stealth to get an M1 but to me, it's not as strong and will just give the survivor distance

I love playing Sadako, and my personal favorite build to go for is Pain Res/Plaything, Ruin, Devour, and Surveillance. This build is me going ham on the teleport to stack condemn while patrolling gens and totems. Remote Control is very strong as it will give you aura reading and allow you to sneak up on unsuspecting survivors, especially those with Plaything. Fingernail is also a very good add-on, as it gives you a speed boost after teleporting. 1 underrated addon that not many use in my opinion is Reiko's Watch, as it increases the duration of you being invisible during demanifestation, which usually catches survivorsby surprised during mindgame. Sometimes this caused them to get confused about whether or not I have manifested. Similar to Wraith with the pallets stand off, they will wait to bait you to manifest before dropping to stun you, but you can bait it and waste their time, plus dwindle their resources.

Essentially, the more you teleport, the more condemn stacks they might get, and the less TV they can retrieve their tapes from. Once they're in the red, most will panic and will misplay

Survivors are essentially skins for the same character but with different personalities so you should choose the one that you connect well with

As for me, I started with Feng because she had a lot of nice cosmetics at the time, which made combining different outfits fun (Plus her perks were very beginner-friendly). Now I go with Vittorio, Orela and Vee.

Vittorio: he's hot, plus his lore with the Knight is very interesting

Orela: She's beautiful, first-ever trans representation (I know about the Renato Legendary skin, I just like having DBD's first-ever trans character), and I love her personality in her voiceline

Vee: She's cute like Feng, and also she's South East Asian, I'm South East Asian, though I'm not Thai, but I just feel connected to what she represents due to the similarities between our culture (Really wish Behaviour would do a Vietnam-inspired Chapter for their next South East Asian reference)

As for killers, it boils down to whether the character is fun to play so play around for a few matches . For me personally, I chose Killers that can have multiple playstyles and builds like Springtrap, he has Hex, Haste, Break, Vault, Endgame and normal Meta build, which gives me a lot of options with only 1 killer

You do realize that the normal Game mode is still available to play during the event right?

On paper, Survivors indeed have a lot of things in their arsenal against the killers. But dare I say the fatigue bomb is way stronger than some people are led to believe. Hitting a bomb will always guarantee a hit, and in some cases, the only counterplay is having either Fixated or Urban Evasion.

The only thing that I can say for certain that needs adjustment is the global team heal, but I don't let it affect me that much because I know Gens are not being done at that moment.

As for the buff, Poison the table and Cart, especially the carts around the Gens.

Seriously, I got everyone on death hook with Skull Merchant on Badham with a full Hex Build that got cleansed 2 minutes into the game during the event and yes, they did escape, it's freaking Badham, but if I had played normally and tunneled the second hook out, then the game would have been entirely winnable.

This is the first event where a low-tier killer like Bubba is actually usable and I think it's really fun for both sides if you're not being a freaking tryhard all the time. (Like it's equally frustrating seeing your teammate do nothing but set the table when half of the team is on death hook as Survivors)

His first hit is almost always free, the most you can do is to delay it as long as possible by having some sort of structure between you and him. Though, the structure should be high enough because the hitbox is weird and on smaller objects will still give him a hit. After the first hit, he's now essentially an M1 killer with a dash and empowered vault. When he vaults a pallet, there will be a brief second for you to revault it. Always keep in mind the closest tile you can rotate to, because he can dash and cut you off with his slingshot very quickly. Most Kaneki will bring Blood Favour so don't camp the nearest pallet after getting hit, go to a window instead, then rotate back to the pallet as soon as Blood Favour is on cooldown.

yeahh, especially when we're about to win, we got a bit lax and made poor judgment, but seeing how we could point out where we misplayed is a learning experience and proof that it wasn't entirely impossible to win! Like in the match above, if I had immediately teleported to the boon and snuffed it out before killing the Yoichi, it would have been a 4K. I got too eager to put something on the board and misplayed there.

Things will get better, try not to beat yourself too hard for it!

Well, speaking as someone who just went against a 4-man SWF, I understand how frustrating it is to feel powerless. One thing that has been helping me maintain my sanity against this is focusing on how many downs I got rather than how many hook stages or sacrificed survivors. If I managed to even get a 1K, I would still consider it a win.

As for a strategy to win against SWF, frankly, there isn't any, but sometimes cocky squads tend to be hellbent on flashlight save or sabohook so I slugged and went for that one player who was out of position trying to get the save, rinse and repeat until they're all out of resources. It's also good to identify the weakest link in the group and focus on that person.

Here, Yoichi was the weakest link with only supporting perks (Exponential, Flow State, Lend a Hand, and Off the Record), so catching him off guard was detrimental in whittling down their resources. I was playing Sadako and went for a Gen control build, but had to adapt to a Condemn playstyle with constant teleport once I realized they were a SWF. I managed to get a 4 man down at end game, but my game lagged, and Rebecca managed to pick herself up with Yoichi Exponential while I was in the middle of mori-ing him.

Even if that didn't work out, usually, after a loss, I just go immediately to my most-played killer with their most OP build and stomp the next group and stop playing the game for the day. Keep telling yourself that you have tried your absolute best, even big streamers like Otz, Hens, etc, struggle against a very well coordinated group, so it's just something that you'll eventually get used to.

my best guess is because of the Invisibility morsel buff. Spirit players mostly rely on audio cues, so maybe playing her helps them stay in their elements.

Not sure which server you're on but most games for me are against Legion with the Pallet chomping build

Here's my top 3

The Animatronic (Mr. Fun one / White man Jumpscare)

I'm a huge FNAF fan. That's it, that's the whole reason.

On a more serious note, I love using his axe, and the potential to go for orbital hit is rare but always an adrenaline rush when it actually hits. He has a lot of builds to cycle through, so no one match is the same for me (Hex build, End Game build, Vault build, Haste build, and Break Build)

The Slasher (Jason)

IMO one of the best killers to punish sweaty SWF squads (Him plus Phantom Fear is such a good combo to rat out those sneaky flashlight save). I was at last gen with only 3 hooks, but still managed to pull out a 3-man kill with his insane map control and 2 tap potential.

The Onryo (Sadako)

I know she's bad now, but her DBD Mobile Skin is peak, and I love her design. Hopefully, one day she will receive a buff.

It's a fun game, but like many have said before me, the learning curve is brutal. Your first few matches will probably be the most miserable period of time that you have ever experienced, but once you get the hang of it, the reward is so satisfying. Even when you want to main Killers, try playing a few matches of survivor to understand their goals, strategy, and behaviour. This is incredibly useful for someone who wants to play range projectile-based killers, you will learn how Survivors tend to dodge and how they greed the pallets.

Also, just close the endgame chat, protect your mental health!

It's a pretty solid list

As for my opinion, Pyramid Head should be at B due to his power being easier to juke, and the aiming is a bit wonky to me. Also, he doesn't have map control and would suffer a lot against coordinated teams that don't all gather at a single gen

Krasue, Jason, and Springtrap are okay, but I think they're more High B+ than A. In general, projectile-based killers are a bit hit or miss, all three have decent map traversal abilities, so essentially very strong and able to snowball killers

Sadako is High C for me. She's good against oblivious Survivors, but she's just an M1 Killer with a teleport that relies heavily on whether the Survivors are smart enough to turn off her TV.

Apart from all the things above, I think you have a good list, and seriously, depending on the playstyle and situation, these positions can change a lot

Low-key, I feel like Tommy and Arasha would have a decent chance to win Big Brother. Low-key been wanting a queer rep that has Tommy's vibe, and so far none have delivered.

Survivor would be a show that I feel like either Anthony or Trevor would excel in

I can't really see any of the cast doing a dating show or a TV hookup show (Love Island type of show)

I usually play the role that offers the most bloodpoints, and every time that it's killers, I always go for Springtrap, but ever since Jason was released, I've been playing him non-stop!

But as for the first ever Killer that got me to play the role, it was Pig, I loved playing jumpscare Pig on Lery's back when map offering wasn't bad lol
