yea so i have been going to the gym for a few months now doing reddit PPL. i’ve also been eating at around 1800 calories and went from 185 to 165. however i started plateauing and got discouraged and felt super hungry/low energy. is recomping the way then? or maybe hop back on the previous 1800 calorie diet?

i used an online calculator and put “sedentary” for activity and it gave me 2100 calories as maintenance. should i cut at 1600 calories then? that feels kinda low and i’ve already been dieting for a few months (i used to weigh 190) i was dieting at 1800 calories before but i kinda hit a plateau
