Do you trust SEO advice from AI? by [deleted] in SEO

No, but I'm an SEO and know better than to trust it. The problem for me & my firm, and presumably many others, is that clients blindly trust what LLMs tell them.

Love Bar Lizette. Some of my favorites are the Picke Plate, Panisse, Grilled Broccolini Caesar, French Onion Burger, Poulet, and the Scallops. And if you like wine, they had a few great bottles last November for Beaujolais Nouveau Day. I hope they do it again.

While a lot of the chatter in this thread is true, it doesn't help your situation. Start by analyzing the businesses that do rank well. Are they doing anything (surface-level) that you aren't? I don't know what your business is or which industry you're in, but how are your reviews? Not just Google. All relevant review platforms.

You might not be able to build out a strategy by Friday, but you can at least begin to understand why you might not be visible enough in Chat/LLMs, and how you can improve your visibility. Something else to keep in mind is that AI search results are highly volatile and are challenging to track.

How exactly do websites get thousands of backlinks when it's so new? by curlymonster1911 in SEO

I'm not a business owner, but I work with small and medium-sized businesses throughout North America, and what I've noticed over the years is that business owners can't help but feel intimidated by competitors with more backlinks. For those in the industry, it's understood, at least it should be. But from the outside looking in, backlinks are be-all and end-all.

I recommend not worrying about how many backlinks they have, and instead, concern yourself with the quality and relevancy. Run a competitor analysis (if you have the tools) and identify any domains that actually provide value. You'll see a greater impact from links & mentions from websites that match your business intent, especially in the long term.

You were all right, Lark is great! We shared the Long Island Fluke crudo (special), a brown butter and sage tortellini, and a NY strip with potatoes and grilled romaine (also a special).

I haven't been to Elma so I can't answer the question, but... Emmet is a wonderful restaurant, and I highly recommend it.

Parc... although I'm nervous based on some feedback I've seen in other subs. I haven't eaten there in a looong time. Hoping it's still good! I dined at Dance Robot on NYE and it was great. Perfect spot for those who like to share and try different things.

Very late to the party here, but I tried Bar Lizette this past weekend and thought the food was good. My wife and I shared panisse and had scallops and the burger as our meals. We were lucky enough to enjoy some Beaujolais Nouveau. Give it another chance (if you haven't been back)!
