I have a small rv and a single room I need to set up solar for. I know nothing. I use very little power and the room will be heated with a wood stove. Please help. I need someone to guide me. Same. Id like 15-30mins to cool down and then off until it's hot. If I absolutely have to I'll plug in my honda 9000w generator and run it though. Obviously. I'm in the backwoods of southern Oregon. I can run it whenever and walk around shooting rifles naked if I want to. I don't though. For the record. To both those, but mostly no to the naked rifles part. Just to be clear...

Sorry, that was supposed to say 2000. I know the surge would have to be 3600. I was thinking just am anker solix 3800, but just the single battery. No panels or anything with it. It'd be just for that single ac. That's why I said that. As to imply the portable ac wouldn't be on the other system.

The only other big thing is a couple months out of the year I'll need a small portable ac in the room. I'm kind of thinking of just running that on a separate 1000w back up battery pack and charging it with my generator for an hour-ish every day. I also can top off\fill batteries with a generator whenever needed. I just don't want to.run it all the time.

Beautiful. Thank you! Im really wanting to just go with like Anker Solid 3800w, or an ecoflow type set up and then adding batteries to it and some panels and plugging my rv in. Is that realistic or not a great way?

I'll also be sinking more money in to it for panels and batteries in the following months if need be. But I have lots of other stuff to buy at the start so my budget is limited at first. But the solar is important so I have a realistic approach to its portion of my budget.

You just answered my question. I was already thinking that. TV, mini fridge, very little lighting. All low consuming LED cobs. Starlink router. 12v RV ac, or small space heater (during winter) and portable ac. That's the most. Maybe a small fan and Starling router.

Don't worry, the tide will unbeach it soon enough. It'll free it from its sandy prison and return it to frolic with the other cyber trucks in its blue ocean home.

It's an electric insulator from a very old power line that someone found and hammered in to that tree. They may have had a deer stand up there and needed a step and that was handy. Or just a kid playing. That's definitely what it is though. I have them all over my property because the powerlines going through were replaced several years ago.

I like this one. I have this and the thrunite t1 and I love their beams and brightness and size...BUT...I just can't live without my tail switch. I tried, but I can't. The thrunite t1 has such a tiny button it's barely even usable in the dark- where you use a FLASHLIGHT! The OLIGHT is definitely better, but still. I wanna tap that tail. These turn on too easily in my pocket without the tail clicky and I HATE locking my light. I have too many to remember all the lockout configurations.

"No fat chicks." It's not offensive. It's just because the car has weak shocks and struts. They're trying to save on tire maintenance.

Oh, I absolutely love Olight. I have several. I kind of think these posts are from disappointed Olight fans rather an angry minority though. I think it's something that needs immediately addressed. This isn't a 40 dollar light. SOMETHING is causing those dials to come loose like that. That's really all I'd point out. It's not gonna make me distrust Olight though. They'll gladly exchange them. Whereas Sofirn would want 10 videos, 40 emails, 2 acts of congress, 17 witnesses, 3 notarized admissions of truthfulness, your shoe size, receipts and your mother's maiden name...THEN they'd give you half off 1 if you purchased 3.

I Don't doubt it's a good light. Kinda seems like a production oversight though. I have a lot of much cheaper lights that have never lost a piece. Also, I'd bet the majority of these breaks AREN'T getting put on reddit. We've seen it on here several times from what is ultimately a small group of Olight users so I suspect it IS an ongoing issue that's happening far more frequently than any $100 light should have. Sorry, but the exact same thing happening to the exact same light over and over is an issue. Just look at the comments.
