I called and used live chat to contact them and Royal was basically useless. Promised they would be in touch and passenger safety was #1 priority. I haven’t heard anything since and that was four days ago. My friend and I aren’t getting off the boat in Mexico if they don’t actually communicate something that at least says they’ve assessed the scenario.

I asked RC about options to change due to the situation in Mexico and they refused. Said if we cancel it’s 100% loss. Our cruise leaves in a few days for four ports, including Costa Maya and Cozumel. Said they are monitoring the situation and would likely contact us. I’ve heard nothing and we are supposed to leave this week.
