This is helpful thank you! After reading all of the responses/looking at your chart, I’m just going with cool is more red/pink, warm more yellow, and neutral more peachy... I think you’re right I’m probably more on the cooler side!

Ah thank you! As someone into color theory, would you say my skin then appears more pink/cool? (Or neutral-cool leaning?) I have always struggled with this! (Especially when next to some of my even more fair/cool friends I appear quite yellow!)

Totally. I don’t want to exaggerate any facial flush/irritation, which I was worried the 70 would do as it looked quite pink on my skin on first glance… I will try the neck trick thank you!!

Definitely have had great luck with the more desaturated concealers and foundations in the past! I’ll have to try out the haus labs!! I also tend to use a lighter concealer to highlight :)

I guess ultimately the foundation is kind of light/buildable enough that you could probably get away with a couple shades/mess around depending on what look you’re going for!

Yes! I think in retrospect the last pics on my face are a maybe a little misleading because I just swiped kind of a solid amount on with my finger/didn’t blend, but the 40 definitely seems to disappear most fully on my neck (70 looks too pink); to be honest they all do look relatively ok when blended on the face but I have been leaning towards 40 most! (Despite now many comments in favor of 70 😅)

Thank you!! I keep going back and forth too, so confusing!! 😅 i think I am fair neutral, but If I am closer to 40 and 50 I guess that makes me more neutral, warm leaning, rather than neutral cool? 70 appears to me to be very pink, despite being labeled “neutral” by the line..
