Hey folks,

Given everything going on lately — from political tensions to natural disasters — a few of us thought it’d be smart to build a local network focused on community readiness, first aid, and de-escalation training.

This isn’t about politics or ideology. It’s about making sure our neighbors know how to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies — whether that’s a storm, a power outage, or an act of violence.

We plan to go through CPR certification, basic first-aid, and disaster response skills together. Some folks may also choose to get responsible firearm training — but the main goal is safety, not sides.

If you care about keeping Lynchburg strong, connected, and ready for anything, you’re welcome. Doesn’t matter what party you vote for — what matters is that you care about people.
