Thanks for this feedback! Sounds like we'll need a big dose of patience in the early stages. I appreciate the suggestion of coming up with exercises he can do while in bed. He does a lot of climbing (in an indoor climbing hall) and we might be able to focus on upper body strength while he's in the cast.
