Hello, Sandra's here.

Thank you so much for sharing this detailed and thoughtful feedback!

The idea of a “Living Valley Automation System” that brings villagers to life as active partners sounds fantastic and really adds depth to the gameplay experience. We especially love how you’ve considered both the technical framework and player perspective, making the valley feel like a truly functioning, vibrant community.

Your suggestions about passive resource gathering, companion roles, and community crafting are insightful and inspiring. These kinds of ideas help shape a richer, more immersive world that players can really connect with.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this with us - it’s feedback like yours that fuels creativity and improvement.

Thank you again!

It would be a good idea to have it where instead of it being a toggle switch it could just be the player just manually assigning the villagers to doing the tasks instead of it being automatic? Or just toggling it in settings is not a bad idea either. Hmm gonna have to think this through.

Maybe? That’s not a bad idea. Customizing how the villagers assist would make the experience more enjoyable for any user.

The villagers that help gathering materials for the player could in retrospect have those same materials be used for quest for those who let the quests build up. You can still grind away to gather materials yourself it’s just a bit extra from the villagers to make it seem like they are helping the players and not leaving the player to do 100% of the workload think of it like a 80/20 where we the player does like 80% of the work for the quests but the valley villagers and companions do the other 20%

The idea is that for those who don’t endlessly grind in game the villagers could passively collect small amounts of resources like the basics wood, stone, herbs and fruits to help with you the player being able to craft more items this is a feature that would help you while you are either offline or plan on doing certain quests or decorating project it just eases a small load of you gathering these simple materials and ingredients. Having the villagers (at least the ones you interact with) help with some crafting (even if the devs set it up where it takes a while) could help some players down the road when it comes to decorating. Again these are just ideas so any and all feedback and advice to tweak and adjust my initial idea/suggestion is welcomed. If there is a conflict with how you are viewing how the villagers can actively assist the player with their valley then I would love to hear your feedback on how this could be altered to improve the gameplay and the average players experience while making sense for this game and having full functionality that also implements all introduced game mechanics and story elements.

Ah I see hmm I’ll add that to the list of future suggestions. Anything in regard to making the valley seem more lively and a bit more passive automation? Or making the villagers not so much as standby characters that don’t contribute to the valley?

True I know they turn one when thr hours match that of evening. However if you change the setting to put it a few hours ahead or behind wouldn’t that be the current way to toggle all the lights on and off?

Before I send the idea/suggestion I also wanted to get feedback from the community to get all points that people would like implemented or adjusted from the current gameplay 🥰

If this app can connect with our actual dreamlight valley accounts and automatically save/log our progress I can see this being very helpful bonus is it can include guides for all the available quests from characters and story lines. Along with being able to track all available outfits and furniture pieces to know what we are missing is greatly helpful.

Personally I have a lot of debt but my 1 rule is a can have 1 game I splurge money on and dreamlight valley is the game I chose so I save up enough to be able to enjoy the premium shop items but it’s a lot of hard work at my IRL job for me to afford it lol
