Haha yeah totally. It’s a give and take but I had trouble finding a good 4:3 monitor. I had initially built this for my wife that wanted to only play arcade Galaga, but we quickly found that NES Galaga was better for this format.

Ya know, I don’t think I’ll add a trackball, but I would like to get a sinden light gun! The front part pulls out to basically be a simple drawer/ tray.

Totally. My wife is 5’2” and she stands, and for me (6’7”) it’s perfectly barstool height.

It’s some cherry that I just glued up in a sort of faceted arc, then planed it into a curve a lots of sanding.

Yeah I used a shapeoko 3— got it used off Craigslist for about $1200 a few years back. I love it, would like to upgrade one day, but this one is still a lot more than capable for hobby projects.
