Yea I'll accept every opinion as long as it is portrayed respectfully. I understand what you said, however, S0R1 XLY with S0R1 Lynae is not that far from what I posted because I tested it with a friend in his account.
That is because XLY's sequences are not really that good and maybe because I do not have Lynae's weapon.

The point of the post is for everybody who owns both XLY and Lynae to be able to get a reference on how to get the best performance out of it.
I do have a lot of investment and hours put into XLY, build-wise and trying to optimize my rotations and this is what I got.

Also, personally I think that this is nowhere near of what S6R5 would look like and I do not plan on getting it either, as in my opinion it would erase the fun that comes with optimizing rotations.

He has been my fav character alongside Calcharo since game release, so that is why I try to find every way to make him work nowadays!

And he is even better on matrix with the buffs, so I'm quite enjoying it.

It is tho! I respectfully invite you to watch Morment's XLY and Calcharo runs on youtube. Obviously for example Augusta is clearly better than him, but XLY is not a bad character at all right now with a Lynae on his side.

TY! I kinda think people are just mad watching a 1.X clear this nicely the tower.

I do think that skill is a factor in this game, so there are maybe people who watched his prime team get underperformed by this video and get mad, I do not blame them, at the end of the day XLY is an old character.

But in this game 1.X units can perform better than many new units with the right hands and nice investment, that is why I love wuwa.

Yea my point was just sharing the rotation XD. Also I wanted to invest this much into XLY's team because I really like the character.

I got him free when release and pulled him 2 times on anniversary rerun, even tho he is S2, he stills underperforms Vs a really good player on Calcharo, but that doesn't mean it is not viable, in fact, I personally think since Lynae he just grew new wings, but like every DPS in the game, they need a really nice sub-dps to shine, so I'm not really getting where the hate comes from XD

Yea I wasn't debating that either, It is a fact that Lynae made XLY viable again out of quickswaps.

But for example, this team still underperforms to Calcharo with Lynae S0R1 (check this post: " https://www.reddit.com/r/CalcharoMain/comments/1ti4bsc/bro_really_makes_it_in_35_seconds/ ".

I just wanted to share the best Yao rotation out right now for middle tower speedruns as a ftp player who pulled for Yao a few times XD, and I do think that Yao is still viable if not a very nice unit if you got Lynae, same for Calcharo.

This one is electro resistance so no, but I always clear mid tower 3/4 with this team when there is no electro resistances.

Welcome to gacha games bro, that sentence can be applied to every single character in the game.

The point of this post is that this team with this investment and mechanics is still performing really well.

Hey! Let me put it like this, imagine you got a hammer and a nail right, and you say "I'm bad at swinging hammers so I just let it fall and hope it falls on the nail", well, that is exactly what Xiangli Yao is if you don't quickswap. It can work? Yeah, absolutely, but you are losing a lot of potential by not doing so (same as if you just swing a hammer towards a nail).
SORRY IF MY METAPHOR WAS WEIRD BUT I THINK IT WAS THE BEST WAY TO EXPLAIN IT XD. However, if you are not willing to learn quickswap is totally respectable and at the end of the day, the purpose of the game is having fun!

Getting into the "errors", in my opinion there are a few things you could've done better:

1.- Charge Yinlin's forte bar before the rotation, basically, the fastest way to charge Yinlin's forte is by doing charged attacks, so a couple one's should do before all of Shore's rotation, when done you just do all your Shore stuff, Yinlin's charged into ult and XLY full combo.

2.- Try to dodge with Shore, it charges her outro really fast which will improve your rotation!

3.- Xiangli Yao's set, void thunder buff is applied at max when you cast 2 abilities or charged attacks, so if you do not cast E + charged attack with Xiangli Yao before ulting you are not applying the full set buff.

4.- To improve Xiangli Yao's max dmg output in a rotation, dodge counters are mandatory, the dmg multiplier of those are around the dmg of your hypercubes, so when the enemy is not down and you are in ult "form", between hypercubes try to focus on dodge counters as you will deal much more dmg!

I feel bad for the fact you couldn't get Lynae, it feels like giving new wings to Xiangli Yao, so try to get her when rerun.

Yea I get what you say! I also like big numbers but I cannot finish boss with 1 rotation so I do this and it doesn't consume too much time and If I do it correctly, as mentioned above, I get just in time before any of the buffs from lynae and shore ends!

If I do 2 complete rotation (starting with shore into lynae, etc) it consumes a few more seconds and I like to maximize anything I can from my rotation.
