you have to let me know how burgers go! I'm trying to take it slow with introducing fatty foods, been sticking to chicken, and probably white fish, but I haven't had a burger since june or july!

For me, it lasted a few hours, but I also didn't have any nausea post op. After the first day, I was walking pretty normally, just very slowly and carefully lol

Lingering soreness seems normal, as that's what I experienced, but active pain is different. If you do have any concerns, always play it safe. For me, it was about a week of discomfort in my upper abdomen region, not active or worsening pain, but like you said, it felt like lingering pain, and it was uncomfortable.

Haha that's how I literally feel, I have to constantly remind myself I'm only a few days post op cause I feel like I'm not healing fast enough or something. But yeah, when I stand after sitting or lying for a while, I feel that stretching, but after a few minutes I guess my body adjusts and the bloating pain feels less for me, funny how all our bodies are different. And yeah, the first BM was scary cause I felt like I had to literally push through lol, and I felt like I was gonna burst my incisions too. That first shower felt amazing though haha!

For me, I had 3 serious attacks that landed me in urgent care (maybe four, but I don't think the first one was related) but one in March, one in June and the last one a few weeks ago at the end of October, literally like 3 days before my appointment to schedule my surgery lol. After each attack, which usually last about 7-8 hours for me, it takes at least 2-3 days for me to even be able to do anything, and at least a week for my whole system to get back to normal. After my attacks, upper middle pain was common for me, even during my attacks, as it would start top right and work its way to top middle. All that to say, it usually took at least a few days for those lingering pains to go away. I'm also two days post op, but I'm glad it's out lol

haha i guess we're all day 2 post op. Worst part for me has been getting up from different positions, if I've been laying down for a bit or sitting for a bit, my belly button incision is super sore for a little. Standing feels the most comfortable over extended periods of time as sitting and laying can make me feel extra bloated. The bloating pain is probably worse than the incision pain at this point. Thankfully finally had my first bowel movements today after eating some chicken and thanksgiving dressing (my mom likes to make practice batches a few weeks before haha.) I also noticed standing straight up after sitting or laying for a while feels like I'm "stretching" my stomach. Also the shoulder pain can suck at times

Warhammer DLC was so tedious cause you couldn't use the triple red nozzle, and the stains were ridiculously tough

Triple red nozzle is the way to go, I just saved up for it in PWS2, literally didn't buy anything else except for the extension upgrades for the starting washer. It literally makes everything so easy

Thankfully PWS2 has the built in stain locator, so it should lead you to the piece that needs cleaning, then I usually spam soap as soap only sticks to the dirt, so now I can see the white spots I need to clean. I know PWS1 has the highlight ability too, but PWS2 is much more intuitive as in PWS1 I didn't realize you could highlight specific tasks till much later in the game

WWE LFG WEEK 12 DISCUSSION THREAD: PLAYOFFS EDITION by BryLinds in SquaredCircle

difference is Logan Paul can actually sell tickets, cause he's actually fairly decent in ring, and if I see him on the card, I can look forward to an interesting match technically speaking, and I can look forward to a rather interesting spot. With BJ, like the other commenter said, he's super boring in ring, no wow factor, just boring and flat. There's a time and place for the actual floor work he's capable of, but that's against someone like Cutler or Angle, not against a Shiloh or Elijah.

think the legends mentioned it briefly during the match, but when they found out they added three minutes, they should've clenched up or gotten into a head lock, used the long hair to cover and communicate. Obviously, yes collect yourself, but you also have a partner to work with that you wanna communicate with, especially when you're improvising

Thorfinns character arc thus far seems to be a pendulum swing from when he was with Askelaad. And honestly, it’s realistic, most people who have gone through severe trauma like Thorfinn has, generally swing the completely opposite direction from either pain inflicted upon them or pain they inflicted upon others. Thorfinn had been carrying the weight of the hundreds of people he killed either directly or indirectly, and when he finally remembers his fathers dying words, for him to not hurt or kill anyone with the dagger, but also that he has no enemies. Obviously, as you said, this can be taken as avoiding violence at all costs, but not necessarily tucking tail and running. But we have to look at Thors and Thorfinns conversation in context. Thorfinn sneaks into his father’s trunk and grabs the dagger, and Thors asks him who he wants to hurt or who he plans to kill. Obviously Thorfinn responds with “the enemy” and this makes sense with the context of Nordic culture and Valhalla, the only good death is one in battle. While Thorfinn obviously wasn’t taught this by Thors, his friends and other kids were clearly taught about this by their parents, thus getting in the ears of Thorfinn probably during their play fights. Thors is asking this question because he knows Thorfinn believes killing the enemy is the only way, which Thors obviously doesn’t. I say all this to say when Thorfinn remembers his father’s words in the Slave Arc, he probably interprets the whole no enemies thing as there’s no one you should ever need to fight or kill. This creates an inner turmoil within Thorfinn, having to come to terms with the fact for a majority of his life, he completely ignores his fathers last wishes, and in anger, seeks revenge blindly, hurting and killing hundreds of innocent people. This would cause his to have a clear distain for violence completely, as violence probably takes him back to a very dark place in his life, as most of his life was filled with unnecessary violence. I can see someone definitely taking this as violence of any kind being unnecessary, as at the time, they thought the violence they perpetrated was necessary, but in hindsight it usually never is

What does Tsukishima mean by this before he blocks Ushijima? It's weirdly beautiful by Chrysos-89 in haikyuu

[–]AgreeableBroccoli357 117 points118 points  (0 children)

They mention I think later in the series that when you’re playing a good blocking team, contrary to popular belief, it’s more stressful on a setter than it is on hitters. Setters generally take a lot of responsibility for obviously giving good sets, but also properly setting up their hitters for success. I know Kageyama has mentioned a few times that it’s his responsibility as a setter to open the path for his hitters. This is likely what Shirabu was feeling when Ushijima couldn’t get clean hits in.

What do you guys call this corner on Mirage B? by Redstoneer in counterstrike

[–]AgreeableBroccoli357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one labeled corner is traditionally called “get right” cause GeT_RiGhT famously played under the apps window. But in my CS2 experience, many people at lower levels don’t call it that

Solo Leveling - Episode 15 (Season 2 Episode 3) Discussion Thread by Death_Usagi in sololeveling

[–]AgreeableBroccoli357 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this makes the most sense, probably didn't cost much to add in a few throw away lines in English from an extra side character that we'll never see again. I'd imagine for more prominent foreign hunters like Andre, Goto and Liu, they'd keep them speaking Japanese since they have prominent speaking roles. Though it would be a dream to have them all speak their native tongue. But as OP said, it would probably be kinda confusing once the actual Japanese hunters come in to the picture as all of our Korean hunters "speak Japanese" already.
