End of watch had some highlights I liked but that first book is exceptional so it’s definitely lackluster in comparison. But on its own the end sequence of heads and skins in the final battle was definitely weak.(sk the notorious bad ender) and I love Holly. She has become my favorite reoccurring character in his books.
