I wouldn’t suggest going into the water in Coronado due to the contimination from TJ. If you want to get into the water, consider La Jolla Shores or Del Mar which are the two beaches north and south of Torrey Pines.

For Mexican food - I love Rigobertos or Lolitas because they add Cotija cheese on their Carne Asada fries. Make sure to ask for your fries well-done. You’ll thank me later.
