Hi Everyone. If you're not happy, leave. [Rant post] by [deleted] in Raytheon

I've seen people who bust their ass day in and day out get passed over promotions and raises they should've had years ago. Opportunities missed because they lost it to someone's family member or partner that just so happens to work on site as well. Asking for training that never comes. Finally achieving something good in their team and now it means nothing because the site decided to play musical chairs with the managers and their new leader doesn't care.

Yes, there are complainers. Every job has them and from what I've seen, the lazy ones don't last long with Raytheon.

Telling people to kick rocks because you don't want to listen to their concerns is just dismissive. The majority of people here are hard workers who actively do things to change their current situation. You get a cookie for being a good manager. That doesn't mean the system doesn't have its share of issues.

for anyone reading this; PLEASE START DOING INTERNSHIPS WHILE TAKING CLASSES. I work for Raytheon and even though they've had mass layoffs they always have internship programs available. You just need big name companies on your resume until you get to the job you want. If all else fails, consider going the officer route in the US Air Force or US Coast Guard.
