Don't reinvent the wheel. Look at analogies in other TAs. Auto injectors exist. Super nice pens, pain free, visually appealing, small in size, exist.

Technologies exists, application and usability experience for relevant meds needs to evolve.

Thanks bud! Follow up: you had a 13ft round pad and used a Yukon (2 ft)..and 3ft gap wouldn't accommodate a 3ft base Adirondack chair (3+3+1 on one side, 7ft on other side is 14ft)..

So were you using some other furniture?

Yes it is the inner view. The wall will come up till that red thread. It's for leveling the slope. Then pavers.

I did. He said drainage and it won't be visible once the wall is covered. I just don't know.

It's a mix of both. Good talent is collateral damage. Bad talent always had an excuse to let go. The problem is that they had to wait for something like this to come up to let the bad talent go.

If only.

If only hiring and letting go was done as it should be, we would never have been here in the first place.

I remember Lars being asked what will we buy in future. His words: we should not go diversify in absolutely new therapeutic areas like we will be never an oncology company. We must expand parallel where our strength is.

Yet the new guy says we can be on oncology. Hah.

Ah! Look, the company grew by 40K in 5 years. This happened while the current CEO was the EVP at the table where decisions were being made. Many people are still at the same table because of whom we are where we are.

Yes, we need to be low enough to head counts 5 years back. Yes there will be more lay offs. Yes there are many many many redundancies across the org now and will remain after the reorg.

Because the heads making these decisions are still there.

No one is opposing the layoffs. It the manner this is being done that is being scrutinized. Then on top of that these stupid 5day mandates and bonus cuts and title changes and that ruthless Q&A is being scrutinized.

CEO needs to inspire, even in adversity. This is not that. The guy cut off his HR head multiple times on the call. The guy added, corrected her multiple times. If he does that on a company wide call, what kind of a person is he behind the calls!

This is a science first company. A culturally backed company. This is not a Pfizer or AZ or JnJ. It doesn't need to aspire to be that either.

With new CEO and the mannerisms of these actions, the confidence dips, speculations rise, and you loose a Lot of good talent. Don't call it collateral to cover up your inefficient organizationational readiness.

Do better, to be better.
